Tamyran's attention was stolen, and Paxton immeadiately was on the case. She had heard Reverend cry out in what sounded like surprise, or pain. Suddenly worried for her friend, she started to rush toward the sound with her entity feet in front of her, informing her of all the easiest passages. Why was he out there on his own? The mountains were dangerous, he should have had someone with him. Maybe she'd make it a new law for her pack to follow. But then another voice cried out and she knew there was another there wth him, but who was it?
Running through the wet ground, she came upon Anjou. This was an awfully good thing. "Anjou, this way." She said as she came up behind her, not pausing. "Reverend is in trouble," she said, though she had probably heard him herself. She might have been talking to herself. "Do you know where Aksha is?" She hoped that her other Queros was also on her way, but she couldn't send Paxton and Anjou was needed to assist in whatever trouble was ahead.
Getting closer, Tamyran howled to let the two know that she was coming. She could already see rubble and smell blood as she came near the passage. Oh my.

Aksha was, in fact, on her way. She was bolting like quicksilver, faster then she'd gone in a long time. She was low to the ground, reaching the end of a ledge and leaping, her feet motoring in midair to go top speed once she had landed. She barely felt each impact. Worry for Reverend - for she'd recognized the howl - filled her mind, and her paw pads were as rough as leather with age. She cut across the pass once she'd hit the ground, anxiety filling her heart. She could see Tamyran and Anjou, and she let a bark to let them know she was there. She slowed as she came next to Tamyran, her eyes widening in fear as she saw the rocks scattered about. Because Reverend's telekinetic blast had thrown them every which way, she at first thought that it was a rock slide.
Spir heard a howl, and she swallowed hard. "Hurry," she whispered under her breath, looking down at Reverend. "Run, Spir!" came Ilila's voice. Spir looked to her left - and so, she did not see the trio of wolves approaching almost directly in front of her. Ilila stood next to her, her ghostly white form invisible to everyone else. "What?" Spir asked, confused. She clearly didn't see the danger of the situation, and a snarl on her lips rose. "Leave," she growled to the angry white form. "Leave, Ilila." Ilila hissed, but appeared to simply blow away with the wind. Spir looked down at Reverend again, before looking again in the direction that Tamyran's howl had come from. In doing so, the sight of the Tamyran, Anjou, and Aksha came to her through the mist. Instantly, she swallowed nervously and looked down at herself, understanding in a flash what Ilila had meant. She cursed to herself, but didn't back away. They knew she was there. Instead, a familiar look of defiance unconciously crept to her face, as if she'd been caught stealing food as a hungry pup. She took one step back, tracking blood on the stone floor of the pass.
A growl rose in Aksha's throat at the sight, and she began to tremble only the slightest bit with rage. She looked over at Tamyran, waiting for a word to attack. She wasn't even sure if she could wait that long.

Reverend was lost. His brain had felt that the best coping mechinism was detatchment. He could only sense everything through a haze. Everything was muted, noises, colors, smells, even his pain had been dulled.
He gave a grumbled moan, as he shifted weight of his sore shoulder, and then lay competely still, his cheek pressed aganst the frozen ground.
Just let me die... He thought. He closed his eyes and willed his life to flee. But no such luck.

Tamyran's eyes scanned hungrily for Reverend, but She couldn't see him where he was. All she saw was another unknown female, all bloodied up. She immeadiately moved her body into a dominant poistion, and glared as intimidatingly as she could with thos non-expressive glass eyes. Her head leaned forward at the female, and she growled slightly. "Where is my friend and beta?" she barked, "And excuse my tone, but you don't seem to be so innocent right now." Paxton's invisible form circled in the air with pleasure for the anger she was feeling. He swept past Spir's face, letting off a sense of harshness for her to pick up. At Tamyran's request, he flew over to Aksha to deliver a message to her. "If she tries, don't let her escape," he imparted, and then to Anjou. They ought to get used to hearing messages delivered by Paxton. She wanted to search the ground for a way around the rocks to get to the stranger, in case she needed to run after her. But here eyes stayed locked in place, and she had noticed Spir's damaged leg.

Whether or not Aksha acknowledged Paxton's voice, she didn't show any sign. A low growl filled her throat, adn she shivered with rage. She glared at Spir and her face twitched. Any pretense of calm she'd accumulated was lost, and she was only just keeping herself from lunging forwards. She'd never felt so defensive before. It was being part of a pack, she realized. She wasn't going to lose any of them, not without putting up a hell of a fight.
Spir growled, tensing up. She glanced at Reverend, not realizing that he was out of their sight until Tamyran spoke. The growl grew unconsciously louder, scanning the situation for an excuse that could've been believable. The fact that Reverend was near death and she was barely hurt made the truth seem a bit far-fetched. A fight would be believable, but would also incriminate her. She came up blank, and instead chose to say nothing. She backed another step away, her lip raising in a warning snarl. "Stay away," she murmured - too soft for any of them to hear, she thought.
She suddenly turned, desperation sending a surge of adrenaline through her system as she made a break for the closest end of the pass. She couldn't tell if she was going deeper into the mountains or back the way she'd come - but either way, she didn't particularly care.
Aksha was off before Spir had even turned around. Forget finding a way around; she leapt over several boulders and veered around the last few, her paws gripping the stone to leap at Spir. Spir had just enough time to turn around and bare her teeth, but if Aksha had any qualms about striking it was far too late. The two females collided in a flurry of slashing blows and glancing hits. Aksha fought with the enthusiasm as a wolf half her age, and Spir with skill that came only with a lifetime of training and pure panic. Fear was in both of them now. It was in Aksha just enough to knock her into her senses and disengage, to gauge the situation - now that she was certain Spir wasn't leaving at that moment in time. It had infected Spir with adrenaline, an evil drug whose effects she had felt many times before. It was invigorating, and yet somehow nostalgia-inducing.
She was now pinned; Reverend and the pile-up of rocks blocking one way, and an angry Aksha blocking the other. Beyond the rocks, Tamyran and Anjou were no doubt moments away from finding a way through the rocks to get to her. She suddenly shivered violently as she felt Reverend's spirit hanging heavily in the balance. Sensing his weakness, his very possible iminent death, brought back her sense of death. "Best timing," she mumbled to herself, restraining another shiver. At least Ilila hadn't shwn up yet. Again.
Aksha, from the other side of the rocks, could see Rever's still form. She could hear the faint, shallow breathing, and anger was revitalized. It was a cold anger, now, no longer an absolute rage. "I can see him," she called to Tamyran. "He's down. Hurt bad." She ignored the glare that Spir gave her, returning it with a stony gaze.

Anjou listened intently for orders from the Alpha. But she quickly spoke up without realizing, "Aksha, let's tend to Reverend." she said as she moved closer to her shining a gold light towards his body that was lying in a heap. "Reverend." she gasped.

Reverend's cloud of numbness was swiped away by the sheer flood of hate, fear, and excitement that filled his head. It was so strong that the pain was non-existent.
He was confused at first, but his mind supplied him former memories of reading the emotions of those around him. He opened his eyes, and took in the sight of the fighting females. His instinct was to tense, which caused all his muscles to scream in agony, before the pain was drowned out by the dark emotions again. He repressed a shudder, and forced his muscles to relax.
He didn't recognize either of the wolves, but his mind registered Spir as the one who had been there while he was under the rocks, who had known his name. She was he only friend right now, and she was being attacked!
Reverend tried briefly to sit up, but saw that, that wasn't going to happen, and gave up quickly. The river of emotions had ebbed, and he could now feel the pain quite thoroughly. He was on the verge of panic again, but he had to help Spir.
"Enough!" He said, but his voice was barely above a whisper. "Enough!" He tried again, but his voice cracked. He tried again, to get their attention, but everyone had such powerful emotions, that it blinded them.
"ENOUGH!" He roared, a telekinetic shock wave shot from him. But it was small and focused, and went straight for the rival female, Aksha.
"Leave her alone!" His voice was weak, but cold as ice. He curled his lip, showing his sharp fangs. He would have looked menacing if it hadn't been that he was tore up from the floor up, and already more then half-dead.

Tamyran hadn't been too quick to incriminate the female, but this was her proof: she had tried to run. She ran around the obstacle course, displaying her power in the situation with her posture. "Good, Aksha," she said, her mind filled with worry. "Someone must keep blocking her way."At least she knew Reverend's condition, but it worried her more. She was going to growl something at Spir, but her emotions made her forget about it, and she went straight to the place where he was trapped. She could question her later.
"Oh my god Reverend.((ha, it's a pun sorta XD)) What happend to you?" A tear rolled down one red-streaked cheek. "What do you mean enough? Who is this rogue?" She had no idea he had lost his memory. Then, in a sudden burst of anger, she turned to Spir. "How dare you try and run, leaving an injured wolf here like this! Who are you and what are you doing on my territory?" She reminded herself that emotion clouds a mind from good judgement and tried to clear her mind as much as she could, closing her eyes and reopening them. Tamyran turned to lick Reverend's wounds.

Spir was utterly shocked as she watched Aksha go hurtling backwards, head over paws. She backed onto the rock, suddenly worn to the bone. She bit down on a cry of pain and instantly lifted her leg from the ground. She tried to clear her head but a thousand things were going through her. Reverend's cry of 'enough' had cut through it all, stilling everything that ahad been buzzing through her head.
Aksha growled, but landed on her side and thankfully not her head. She was up after a struggling, flailing instant, in which she was surprised that the strange female had not struck. She looked at Reverend, who was looking quite fiercely at her. His look was the only thing that was fierce, though, and Aksha growled at Spir. She stayed between the rogue and the exit, as Tamyran had instructed, anger flowing freely. It drove her to stand even when adrenaline had left her.
"You heard him," muttered Spir, knowing that Aksha would hear. She turned her attention back to Tamyran and Reverend, not moving a muscle other then her trembling leg. She thought for a moment, deciding whether or not to speak. Answering Tamyran was out of the question; her mind barely registered the questions, not that she would consider answering them. How dare she? Easily, actually. Who was she? Spir. But a name didn't tell you who a wolf was. Spir didn't know who she fully was. What was she doing there? Apparently causing an act of war. Joy. Not even a mile into the terror and already in trouble. Reverend probably wouldn't answer them, barely knowing his own name. Finally, she dared to breathe. "He doesn't know you," she said, her voice not betraying her need to stay calm. Her voice sounded low and deadly, and her eyes conveyed a cold nothingness - to those who did not know them. Her face was pained, whether internally or externally - or both.
"He doesn't know you," Aksha snapped. Spir didn't answer, turning her head to look at Aksha more clearly before turning back to Tamyran. She said nothing more.

Anjou looked around, she didn't know what to do, Reverend was a team member, and now he knew nothing about the ones who were there to help him. And that strange she-wolf that was in there with him. She wanted to call out to Reverend, but she knew it would do no good as seen from Aksha's attempt. She knew Reverend was powerful, and now he was helping, protecting this stranger.
"Tamyran, what should I do?" she asked, really she couldn't do much, she couldn't speak to the injured Reverend, and she couldn't fight that rouge female, not alone anyway. She stayed behind Aksha giving her space, but also trying to guard the exit from the stranger.

Reverend could tell that this female cared for him (Tamyran), not only by her actions, but he could also feel her emotions. She honestly worried for him. Reverend frowned, sorry that he didn't know who she was.
Her feelings toward him, caught him off guard, so he didn't act violently when she licked his wounds, like any other wolf would toward a complete stranger. Which is what she was--what all of these wolves were--a stranger. He couldn't recall anything, only some flashes from when he was younger.
"I'm sorry." He said his voice soft, ignoring her anger toward Spir. "She speaks the truth. I don't know who you are." He voice was rough, and monotone. He lost the sudden strength he had felt when Aksha was attacking Spir. He fixed his dead gaze on Aksha, and was barely able to raise his voice so she could hear. "Leave her be. She is...She is with me." He finally decided to say. It seemed that these wolves trusted him for some reason, perhaps he was in their pack? Why else would they care so much about him. If only he could remember. He felt that it was the only thing he could say to get them to leave Spir alone.

She wanted to rant at Spir again, but she refrained. Her main focus was on Reverend now. Her head went up from licking as he spoke, merely from the shock of what he'd said. It hurt her, because her and Reverend were good friends. And now he didn't know who she was.. "Wha.. oh.." She looked at ihm with sadness. "It's okay, she's not being fought right now. " she said, not thinking anyone else heard him. There was a second where she was at a loss for words. "Reverend.. I just walked in here, and saw her all bloddied up, and you injured. So excuse me. But if you don't remember, I can't be sure yet that she is not at fault." She thought he would understand.
Turning to Anjou now, "Yes, please tend to him the best you can, and if he wants something said to someone, please deliver the message. For now he's still your beta." Tamyran gave one worried glance back at him before apporoaching Spir, in a non-threatening manner, but ready in case she was attacked. "Reverend says you are with him," she voiced so that the other wolves could hear, too, and be caught up with the situation. She sat in fron of her to show some kind of peace, in the way that she didn't want to fight. "But I'm not stupid, I know his memory was affected, and you may have fed him lies. You have no where to go, so cooperate now and talk to me. What is your name? And what happened here?" Her body was slightly shaking from all the emotion and tenseness of the situation. But her pack had proven reliable and obediant, and that was a good thing. She could trust them well.

Anjou nodded at Tamyran, and made her way towards Reverend. Her Alphess was right, Reverend was still her beta, and she didn't want to sit there any longer and not help him. She curled her body around his, he was cold, or in shock one of the two so she lay beside him. Reverend's blood covered her white fur. She spoke to him in hopes that he might remember just one little thing, "It's gonna be alright Reverend. Everything is gonna be ok." she spoke warmly to him like a mother to her pup. A gold, warm light emitted from her streaks of gold fur. "Try to rest Reverend." she said softly, as she licked his wounds, clearing them of blood and debris.

Aksha's eyes widened slightly, and upon seeing Tamyran confront Spir and the lack of Spir fleeing or fighting, slunk towards Reverend. He really didn't know them? Any of them? She shivered slightly, and approached him cautiously. She remembered what she'd learned about his powers, and shivered again. He could no doubt feel Tamyran's anger and Anjou's concern, and that loner's...whatever she was feeling. And he didn't know why or even who they were. She couldn't imagine it. So she darted towards him, her tail low as she approached, and said nothing. She looked at the chunk of debri in his side and then back at him. She knew it would bleed if it was pulled out, but it had to be pulled out eventually. She licked around it slowly, and between licks she spoke. "I'm Aksha," she said, smiling slightly. She couldn't keep it on her face without struggle, though, and settled for her gentle tone of voice. "And that's Anjou. We're going to take care of you."
Spir's eyes contained unhidden depths of glowering anger. It was the anger of someone caught in a trap, knowing they're caught in a trap, and not used to being trapped. "I always have somewhere to go," she murmured, low enough so that none of the others could hear. "My name is Spir," she grated after a moments pause, making no attempts to hide the resentment she so obviously felt. "What happened here is that your 'beta' " - here she spoke with exaggerated venom, an a look past Tamyran at Reverend - "had a life-threatening accident in which I was unfortunately, unintentionally, and indirectly involved." She paused a moment, and then her eyebrows quirked upwards. "In otherwords, I didn't do it."
"Not my fault, never my fault," Ilila laughed in a child's voice. "That's right, Spirit, deny it all." Spir growled, a low sound that cut off only a moment after it had begun, as she remembered exactly where she was. The look in her eyes was pure rage directed at something else, something hopping from ledge to ledge on the side of the mountains, back the way she had come. She refused to look at it, not this time. Anger at her childhood name, anger at the dead thing that wasn't there, and anger that one else could see it. Her eyes squeezed shut for a split second, as if recovering from a migraine, and she focused her attention solely on Tamyran again. She ignored the white shape out of the corner of her eyes. She said nothing more as she shivered slightly, exhaling the anger away. She would want details, and she had to be thinking clearly. She figured Tamyran would either think she was crazy or...just think of it as an honest mistake. Right. Other options eluded her.

Tamyran sighed. How was she supposed to believe something said like that? "Your lack of story doesn't help convince. It makes me think you're buying for time." She stepped closer, trying to get it into Spir's mind just what position she was in. "You make this hard. Tell me what happened, Spir."
