Remembering and Seeing Time: Sunset, with bright crimson streaks going from west to east across the desert.Weather: Very little wind, no clouds, but the shadows are providing stripes of cooler ground, and if you lay totally still on the stone it seems a lot cooler.Location: An enormous space of simple desert, only with the occasional bush or tree or patch of grasses. "Whose woods these are, I think I know." A haunting voice drove through the empty space, taking up space where there could've been a reply. A single wolf wandered aimless throughout the strangely lit lands. The starving animals that lived in the desert-area paid no heed to her - she didn't appear hungry, seeing as she passed several of them with nothing more then a glance, and it wasn't worth missing an opportunity to eat. "His house is in...the village though." It was obviously a familiar song to this wolf, as she left the ellipsis hanging and echoing, and executed the high note at the end. She was taking a long time between the stanzas, leaving time for each note to echo clearly, but she seemed to relish in the slow grace. She glanced around, nothing in her eyes. No worry, no fear, no happiness. "He will not see me stopping here." Liva had, over the past few days, been remembering songs that her mother had sang to her. She was remembering the better things in her life - she'd learned to be independent. But not just that, the simpler things; the things that she found herself doing unconsciously, and even some of the things she didn't notice. "To watch his woods fill up with snow." Despite her almost never seeing her mother, she walked like Zephyr. She slid, silent and smooth as a ghost, over the roughest of lands, just like her mother had. She found herself singing the songs that Zephyr had sung to her, when she was a pup. She wasn't even sure how she remembered them; recently, she'd been remembering a lot of things in the past - actually remembering, not Seeing. "The woods are lovely, dark and deep." She broke into a run a few moments after the last word, leaping suddenly upon the grasses that didn't even hold any prey. She pounced like there was something there, her tail wagging, and every rabbit and hare and field mouse that had been munching peacefully scattered. She pawed at the empty grasses, then suddenly lost interest. She like being spontaneous, seeing as she felt she didn't have a choice back when she lived in the Ruins. "But I have promises to keep!" She smiled at the irony of the phrase, growing louder on promises in anticipation of the high end note. She listened as it echoed louder then any line she'd sang yet. The song was beautiful, but none of the animals around her would notice it. They probably didn't understand her. She shivered slightly. "And miles to go before I sleep..." She trailed off, the line seeming somewhat hollow in her shivers. Liva sat for awhile, laying down in a bare patch of dirt. She looked across the ground, the vast expanse of cold stone and dry earth, and the occasional scruffy bush. It was a miserable place, she knew, and she already knew that there were packlands, and where they were. A useful thing, the ability to see the future of things in her travels. She closed her eyes, reliving the vision. The familiar darkness surrounded her vision, and she felt herself flying. She could see the earth in front of her, and she could feel her vision pan right and left before heading south, into the territory. Here her vision split, and she could See three diferent paths; the mountains, the forest, and the plains. The vision cut off there; too many possible happenings, it would make her head hurt. She smiled and looked up at the sun. It had lit the desert landscape into bright shades of red and deep purple shadows. She was half in the light and half in the dark, smiling brightly to herself. "And miles to go..." "...before I sleep."

[During Food Poisoning Thread]
Meli soon looked up as her head rested on a branch that was thick enough to block her from moving forward. Her eyes focusing on a movement that made the sun's rays flicker from one place to another. "Who's there?" she says out loud, thinking what ever it was could hear her. But the movement kept going, walking past and making some areas of the thickets darker. Meli's paws soon began to kick as she tries to climb over a branch that rested her. Crawling through the spikes, the thorns, the splinters with out issues. A few pokes, a few scraps didn't stop her, she was determined to find out what was happening, who was there and why they weren't answering her.
[Leaving the Thickets]
Finally she hits the last few branches, as nothing but open desert was there. Her eyes burning as the sun beamed on them. The sand soaking up the heat. She shakes, as all four paws touched the ground, a chill running down her spine as the temperature change affects her body. Her eyes finding the purpose of all the trouble, but nothing was seen. "Where did you go?" She says in ways thinking that they were out there still, somewhere. Yet to some eyes, she would be consider insane for seeing things as well as talking to herself. Blood stained her fur as the thorns poked her deep enough to break skin, yet the pain did not affect her yet. She decided to walk the line, seeing if the movement that she saw would soon show up.
Her paws soon began to ache as she moved each paw one after the other. Her bones itching, as the little wounds burned her skin. Her fur steaming as the heat gets trapped between her fur and skin. Her stomach growling as it earns for food. There was nothing, nothing but open land. She soon found a patch of grass, that had a large rock near.
The sun was going down, but it had an hour left of showing its true power. Her body leaned next to the rock, as it supported her weight. Her eye sight becoming a blur as a sleepiness soon took hold of her mind. Her front paws keeping her up right, as she slowly slips down. Shaking her head trying to keep her self awake, 'this is no time to sleep, you haven't even scanned the land' she thought to herself. Finally, her body giving in she slides down placing her paws out, as her left side rested on the cool ground, her spine touching the rock helping her keep a cool as the heat from her body exits. Little by little she begins to rest.
[Hour Later]
'"And miles to go..." "...before I sleep." ' soon entered Meli's sensitive ears, her eyes quickly opening. Her head slowly pops up as her eyes took in the new color. The sun was pretty much gone, leaving only a line of color. The rock blocking the light made almost as if she was in the dark. A little breeze blowing by, as it was a bit cooler then it was earlier. Meli's ears still perked, a voice. Her mind quickly thinking it was the movement she saw earlier. She lifts her bottom up her tail swayin to the side as she does so, her front paws leaning forward as she created a stretch for both her front and behind legs. Her sore muscles soon felt amazing as she did the stretch. Lifting her upper body back up, she looks around. Where was this sound, '"And miles to go..." "...before I sleep." ', Repeated in her head, yet her ears did not really hear it again. "What are you singing?" She questioned the creature who sang. "Better question, where…" Before she even finish, the sight of another wolf soon appeared. The wolf only being a few feet/yards away.

Liva yawned mildly at an inquiring voice. She glanced around, looking left and then right, cocking her head at the stranger. "Oh, hello!" she said cheerfully, smiling. She'd never seen other wolves when she lived with her mother, on their little patch of land, and she'd seen only a few since she'd left only days ago. "I was singing...a song." She laughed slightly at the obvious statement, before looking at Meli again with twinkling green eyes. Her fur on her face shone red with the final glimpse of sunlight, so that it was impossible to discern which parts of it were red, which parts were black, which parts of it were white, and which parts were gray. She looked like her father, she knew that - her mother was totally black, with a red jaw. Liva was instead totally red, with a white-and-gray face and a black jaw. She'd never met her father, although Zephyr told her that he grandmother had had red fur. Either way, she way pretty sure her fur came from her father's side. She shook it off mentally - wouldn't it be funny if she shook and all her fur came off? Not really - and smiled at Meli. "My mother taught me it," she chirped cheerfully. As an afterthought, she added, "I'm Liva." She smiled a bit lopsidedly, not thinking at all about the song that she'd sang. It was a normal song for her, despite the fact that she didn't quite understand it. She didn't know what a house or a village was, if she bothered to think about it. But it was like what you were told as a pup; you just didn't question it. And she was just a big pup at heart.

Meli backed off as the wolf seem to become a little to happy around her, does this wolf not know that not all loner's are friendly? In away Meli just looked at the wolf, weirded out by her personality, and how bubbly she was. She (Meli) was to calm, to aggressive, to independent to be so happy or to take notice of the good things in life. She stood her ground as the wolf spoke, this was open land, no wolf can kick her off it. "My name is… Meli" she said in a low voice, in away hoping that Levi didn't really hear or understand. In away Meli, wasn't the type to keep friends. Her small body stood tall, as she tries to gain an inch in height. The sun reflecting it's colors into Meli's brown eyes, creating a maroon color tent. Her paws soaking up the cool sand, as she stood in the shade of the rock. Her fur was a mix, almost like Levi's but in a different design. She had more gray/black then red and brown. Her small figure almost makes her look like a starving coyote as her fur began to shed. But she was rather healthy for a loner wolf, she had enough food in her as well as water. She could thank her gift for that. "Why do you sing? I mean don't get me wrong, your voice is nice but you know your voice can also cause a bit of danger out in these hoods…" She says as she soon relaxes her body, her body ache from the thickets she enter earlier that day. The blood still dried up on her fur, her paws still aching, her muscle are a bit sore. Her eye sight soon started to adapt to the amount of light, as she slowly lowered her rear end to ground.

Liva shrugged. Naturally she caught the caution in her voice - she noticed a lot, but she tried not to. She'd spent a long time paying attention to everything, and not seeing any other wolves. But the things that she noticed in her mother - the expressions, the tones, the voices, the stances - were all different here. So, almost inconsciously, her mind registered all of these toings about Meli. "Nice to meet you, Meli," she said, genuinely. "I don't know," she admitted after a moment. "I suppose I need a little danger now. And besides, what's the point of knowing a song if you never sing?"
It sounded like a rhetorical question, but for a moment Liva cocked her head as if waiting for an actual answer. She resisted the urge to delve into Meli's past or future - it cast a shadow on her conscience, and she couldn't distract herself - she was actually talking to someone.

Meli just looks at her strange, nothing much she could do. She looks around the area and then back at her, "I suppose your right." She really didn't know what else to say to this wolf, she never really hung around long enough to really have a conversation before. She was know to leave with an impression, usually the impression was not a great one. Her scent soon filled the air, "I hope your hungry, we might have some company." she says with a smirk on her face. She slowly raises her bottom, her tail swaying as her scent traveled. Usually her scent was directed to one animal in specific but casually it will attract others as well. The scent was hard to see, you can describe it like carbon dioxide or oxygen, hard to see but it is there. Her touch was another story, you may not see it on her body but once it touches your skin, the color of your fur will bleach out as your skin begins to burn and turn red. Depending on how long she touches you, or how powerful she made her skin to be that burn could easily be an itch or an acid. It was always smart to not to jump up and scare her, or even to surprise her in a manner of playfulness. She wasn't much of a playful puppy, more serious then anything.

Anye's tail hung low as he traversed the harsh loner lands. He'd lost his friend Xanthia somehow, maybe she went off to chase a bug or something, he didn't know. But now he was alone again, and he had stupidly wandered away from the plains and the friendly wolves there. So stupid. The earth here was sandy and strange to walk on, his paws slid on it every once and a while. His whole side was irritated now, ever since his encounter with that female, and he tried not to chew on it but the skin was already turning red from his scratching and whatnot. If he could only find some water, maybe that would help it.. but he was in a very dry place.
His head lifted and he saw somethings in the distance. One of them had a glossy orangish coat that was hard to miss. They must be other wolves, that was what he'd smelled. Perhaps they could help him get to the plains again, but not all wolves would probably be as nice to him as the last ones he'd met. His tongue came out to wet his nose as he stood there deciding if he wanted to go any closer or just walk away. There seemed to be nothing around for miles.. and it was getting dark now.
Anye treaded closer lightly, as if it was rude to interrupt.

Liva raised her eyebrows at Meli's peculiar actions. She was confused, but didn't want to show it. She didn't like not knowing what would happen, she learned, very quickly. Back at her old home, she knew all of the land and all of its secrets. In the real world, she liked the surprise of not knowing what would happen, but at the same time her mind was screaming at her that she was in danger. 'Calm down,' she told herself silently, blinking for a bit too long. She wasn't sure what to say to Meli's admittedly strange comment, but she was saved by another scent.
She swung her head, turning her back almost fully to Meli. Her childish intent was abolished as her attention was commanded entirely by Anye's approach. "Hello?" she called out, her voice a shade darker. She was a creature of the day and the night, and both adjusted to her eyes quite nicely. The wolf seemed to almost glow, with his almost ghostly shaded fur.
Some things didn't surprise her about wolves - her mother might not have given her the best childhood, but she was a good storyteller. She told tales about wolves of all different sizes and shades and appearances in general. And so, upon close inspection of the approaching male, she didn't find it weird that he smelled different, or that his eyes seemed to be totally void of anything but darkness. It was something knew, and for now that was all she cared about.

Meli's face was slightly disappointed when another wolf appeared, the scent was in away horrible to her nose as Anye walked closer. All she got out of it was a Male wolf, or so it appeared. Her eyes staring down at Anye as her scent still traveled, she was hungry and a male wolf with no meat on their bones didn't seem to.... filling. Meli's eyes quickly drew towards the rash that appeared on his side, Her in somewhat of a whisper she somewhat laughed. She didn't really remember the wolf, but then again, those eyes where hard to forget. Her ears perked as a few noises were heard from the dirt in the ground, as an area close to their feets began to move and shake. A rather large create (No bigger then a small dog) enter the area, "Now that's a meal..." Meli's face becomes determine, as her focus turn to the creature who just enter the area. Her scent quickly vanished, her body low to the ground as soon is eager to attack. She takes run for the creature as it took notice of the wolves that where a little to close. But only a few minutes into the run, Meli catches it and brings it back. No blood was seen, the legs of the creature twitched. Poor thing was still alive.

Anye stood in place, realizing that he had seen one of the wolves before. Her name is Meli, he reminded himself, as if there was a voice in his mind speaking to him. He wasn't too fond of Meli already, and if it weren't for the other stranger there he would have just kept walking by. "Hello," he spoke cautiously. His skin was othersome but he resisted the need to scratch it; he wasn't going to seek her help, he was too prideful. He moved his stiff legs by stepping in place.
Then he saw the animal appear out of the earth almost like it had been conjured. He didn't want to watch it be eaten or killed, though he knew eventually he would have to kill something in order to eat. His body, which had been lying empty for some time, was already hungry. Of course Anye was going to put eating aside for as long as he could.

Liva cocked an eyebrow at the sudden appearance of the animal, and Meli's swift capture of it. She held a shiver back, biting down on the words, 'How did you do that?' She simply smiled casually at Meli, and then at Anye. "I'm Liva," she said, her smile widening into a grin. It wasn't just a happy expression, it was like carelessly happy. She, for the moment, regarded the still-living creature with only a glance and a smiling nod.
Funny thing was, it killed her to let things go. It killed her not to have everything in her sights, not knowing everything that was going on. She was learning, though, because she knew that she could never know everything that went on. Not like she had at her old home. A tinge of sadness drove a glimmer of uncertainty into her eyes, as she recalled her mother vividly. She shook her head physically, as if it would shake the memory from her brain. "What's your name?" she asked, smiling and blinking rapidly.

Meli's tail wagged as she stood there with a live creature in her mouth. She took notice of their expression, what was wrong with these wolves? Most loners would kill for a piece of meat, but not these wolves. She questioned them, are they even loners? She thought, where they looking for a family? Where they lost? Her tail slowly swaying as she was disappointed in these wolves. After questioning them in her head, Meli didn't take notice of the creature escaping her mouth, as her jaws loosen up. She stood there as she stared at each wolf with mystery, thinking of all the things that should of happen. IT some what bothered her that they just stood there without fighting. Instead, they were being friendly? Psh, who can possibly survive the wild by being friendly. She soon moved over slightly to take notice of Anye's rash, the smirk returning to her face as her tail began to wag again. "I remember you, i gave you that." She says with a little harshness to her voice.

"Anye," he said to Liva. That was his name from now on. Can't forget it. He looked to Meli, who was smirking at him. Because of the rash. At least he was memorable, though that could be a bad thing to he supposed. Maybe he was too big of a loser for her to forget. "Yeas.. you gave it to me." He wasn't crazy then. "What was that for?" He didn't sound hurt, and he wasn't. Just had no idea why, and there should be a reason, right?

"Anye," she said, rolling the 'N' as she repeated it. She took note of the rash and the conversation between the two. She sat back on her haunches and tilted her head, observing for a moment, and then her tail wagged a couple times. "How'd you give him a rash?" she asked curiously. "What are you two doing here, as a matter of fact? Isn't this supposed to be, you know, the loner lands?" She pondered that for a moment, then straightened up like she'd discovered the key to winning the lottery. "Hey, are you loners?" she asked, smiling as she glanced between them.

Meli looked at the wolf named Anye, she never remembered if she ever got his name. "It will go away in a week, unless you get a special plant to heal it." She says, feeling a little guilty at doing that to him, she never feels guilty. She looked over to Liva, 'this wolf asks a lot of questions.' she thought to herself. She nodded in agreement that she did give that rash to the wolf, but when she heard how she looked at her paws and then back at Liva "With a simple touch of my body." She says a bit proud of her power. A smile soon appeared on her face, she had an evil mind but for once she thought to be nice. Soon the topic changed about why she was there, and if she was a loner. She nodded, "I find it more pleasing to be a loner, then a member who follows orders from an over grown male." She looks over to Anye, her face expression was easy to see that she had to much pride in herself.
