Rules:
Kouhai is a fantasy wolf roleplay. We are a friendly group of people and we never expect the best and we never expect the worst. Things develop through time, so in time things could possibly change.
The rules are only here to give people an idea on what to expect. We aren't as strict as it seems, and we accept pretty much anyone who knows how to write a full paragraph. Everyone has different styles of writing, so we don't judge. Just make sure you don't go to the extreme on yours words. Also we have these rules for a guide line, meaning we expect you to follow them. If you disagree on anything, please tell one of the leaders.
If you are new to the world of wolves, you may want to check out this site to learn a little.
Rules on Character Form:
Characters are created by your own imagination, so we expect something unique. To create a character, all you have to do is go to either the APPLY area and go to the pack you would like to join and get the application there, or go to the coding section located under INFORMATION and take the coding of the application of the pack you want to join from there. It's best to fill it out on Microsoft so you know that you spelt things correctly, along if you forgot a word or not. Once finish you can go to APPLY and place your application in one of the four sub-boards. Once the leader of that board comes on, they will take a look and either PM you or reply to the thread if you need to fix something or they will accept it and move it to the ACCEPTING board. ( you may or may not get a PM if you are accepted) Once you are accepted you then can roleplay anywhere you like.
More about the application:
Your character's picture may either be a drawing or a photograph. You do not have to have a photo, but it is best if you do. When filling out the application for the pack you want to join, please fill out each question fully, otherwise, you might be asked to add more to it.
We don't expect every detail, but we wouldn't mind having most of it written. You are allowed to write your application in any form (first person, third person, second person), just make sure you get all the details down.
We would love it if you have your characters in your signature. But we also expect a color code on that signature to let us know where your wolf is located (Aquene, Ileai, Imperium, or Loner). We would like it if you are exact in color, so we have a color code key in the welcome box above the boards. You can put the color in a bubble, line, or just use it as the name. Just make sure you have the color somewhere located on the image in the signature. You DON'T need to use this color key anywhere else, unless you want too. If you have issues on this, we have a SIGNATURE REQUEST located in the Coding area under INFORMATION. Also make sure your signature won't stretch the boards.
Aquene is Deda6f
Ileai is 369256
Imperium is 992233
And Loners is 5c54c0

The Rules on the Power and Packs
Powers are simple and easy to understand. We are allowing each wolf to have at most two, unless you earn enough karma points to have one more. Your character DOES NOT have to have a power, it's your choice. They can even develop the power later in the roleplay. To keep things fair, we ask of you to limit your power. Everyone has a weak point, and things tend to fail at a distance. So we ask of you to limit your power. Every hero falls. If you don't know any powers, please go to the POWER RULES, located under rules, and click the link that is given there. We do have a few powers that are banned, so you must earn karma points to have a character with that specific power.
Packs rules are simple:
Every pack has different rules, and different ways of thinking. So all we ask of you is that you follow the pack leaders rules, or at least their warnings. If not your character may become a loner.

The Rules on the Roleplaying
The roleplaying area is the drama zone area. We expect the worst, we expect the amazing, and we expect a lot of things to happen. Since every wolf has a weak side, you can't dodge every bullet or survive every great fall. So don't god model in the boards. Things to happen, like a wolf giving birth. We don't need to know every detail on how it is done, but you can lead up to it and just keep the rated R stuff out. (keep it PG13) Some wolves are aggressive and have foul language, just make sure you don't over use the F*** word. If you do use any profanity please bleep it out. Remember if something happens during the roleplay, like your wolf had pups, please updated your character's bio. We like to know when things happen, and your character's bio will end up growing as years go by in the roleplay. If your character passes away, please let us know. We like to keep things up to date, and place characters in the proper place. (even if they change packs) Our rules are simple, we do not have a limit in words but we would like to see more then 200 words. We don't expect you to be an amazing writer, but we wouldn't mind if you try your best at writing more about how your wolf is feeling, or if its fur is blowing in the wind. The more words, the better people understand what is happening.
Just make sure you stay in character in the roleplaying boards, if you have arguments about a post PM the person or chat it over in cbox. If things get out of hand we, the leaders, will come in and take over. Your character can either be deleted, banned, or you , the user, will be kicked out. So lets keep the fighting to our characters. Also spell out every word, do not shorten or use IM chat. Roleplaying is like a story, no one wants to read half a word or three letters.
Considering a second character? We do not have a limit on characters, but it is one account per person. You must keep each character's bio updated, and when meetings happen for packs you must attend. If you decide you do not want a character anymore, PM one of the leaders and they will help you on how to get rid of the character. Also, before leaving the roleplay (for personal issues or other) make sure you end your conversation with other characters.
Rules on How to Start a New Thread : (only in Roleplaying Boards)
We have a thing that no other board really does. We like for our roleplayers to post a coding in the first post of a thread. This coding consist of four questions, title, when, where, and weather. They are very simple questions and can be answered with just a few words. But the more the words, the better people understand what is happening. The reason why we have this is just because it helps everyone get on the same page. It creates an image for people that everyone will understand. These questions will make you understand where exactly wolves are, what type of light is out, and how the weather is or going to be. This is a REQUIREMENT when posting a thread in the roleplaying boards. If we do not see these questions before the actual post, we will PM you or write in the thread for you to modify the post and add the questions. If we still don’t see the questions after the warning, we will either lock the thread or we will be kind enough to fill it out for you. If this seems too difficult, then please don’t start a thread. The questions are here to help get everyone on the same page. The coding for this is located under the CODING thread (found under INFORMATION). We also have a link located under the IMPORTANT LINKS (found in the update box). Example of what we are looking for is located below this. Remember this is only for the Roleplaying Boards.
Example:
TITLE of Thread
Time: The time is around midnight, the moon looks full but the dark clouds are moving slowly over taking away the only light.
Weather: a cold breeze, looks like a possible rain shower is coming.
Where: the middle of the grasslands, far away from the trees and mountains. Only Grass is seen with a few rolling hills.

The Rules on Chat Board
The chat boards are here for your entertainment. They are used for showing things off, creating ideas, advertising, or just to have a random chat with people you miss in the cbox. The only rules for the boards are that you don’t over exceed in Foul Language, bleep them out if you do use them, and that you don’t post or talk about pornography or anything sexual (PM the person or talk to them over an Instant Messager, not everyone wants to hear about it). If you are going to show something rated R (guts, blood, or drugs) or talk about something that really shouldn’t be talked about around young kids please post in the title RATE R. If we do read it and find it wrong, we will delete it, or make it where only people over 18 can read it. Everyone has their opinions about things, fighting is welcome but keep it at a level that you don’t ruin a relationship. Some people are open-minded and others aren’t. Just remember not everyone believes the same thing you do. If we get to many complaints we will delete the thread. Rude comments about a user or character will automatically be deleted. If you have issues with a user or character please PM one of the leaders. The leaders have the final say, we are allowed to delete things that we believe shouldn't be posted. (Advertisement rules are posted in the advertisement board)
We also have a board that we play games in (to earn karma points). This is usually located under SECONDARY INFORMATION under INFORMATION.
The Games The games are seen randomly, at the most random times. The leaders will just post a thread giving you the rules and how much you will earn, in karma points. Every game has different set of rules, so just make sure you read the thread correctly before answering the questions.
"What are the games?"[/i]
Here is a few of the games... Some may not even seem like games.
• Making your First Character (Have to start somewhere)
• Starting a Roleplaying Thread, not that big of a game but you get points for each one you start. Limit of 3 per day. (Cheater, that's to EASY!)

• Getting member of the month... (I mean who doesn't want the respect.)

The Rules on Chat Box
The cbox is a faster way to talk to someone. You are allowed to use it for discussion on a roleplay, to answer or ask questions, or just for a general chat. If you do not want everyone to read or respond to your conservation then do not post in the cbox. Spamming is not welcome, nor is rude comments about a user or character. Guest are welcome, and advertising is only allowed if you post the link in the proper place (the box next to where you place your name). Your welcome to chat about your other proboards and keep IM chats to minimum. We understand that some days are lazier then others, but don’t shorten every word in the dictionary. Also, try not to flood the cbox with just with one word at a time. It’s a bit annoying and people would like to see other post other then yours.
