So you want to run with the outsiders?
Then there's some things that you should know...
Who are the loners?
In the Loner Lands nothing is as it seems. Through the thickets, muddy creeks, and small groupings of trees, scraping by is hard enough. The wolves here are nonetheless hardy. Don't expect much sympathy from one of these rogues. Each loner has a story, some were exiled from their packs, others were born into this life, and still others have chosen it. Every wolf here is different, their strengths and weaknesses built from their personal lives, and here they are, wound together in the unforgiving left over lands that are Kouhai's most unforgiving territories. If you are able to survive here then you are one lucky canine. These lands are filled with wolves whose hearts and minds feast on rebellion, they will fight you, they will hunt you, and you will find out that you are never the top wolf on these playing fields. So watch your back, keep one eye open as you sleep, and pray that maybe one day a pack will take you, lest you fall victim to the elements, or one of your own...Rules
The rules are simple, survive.- You are a lone wolf, picking fights with a passing Pack wolf will cost you.
- Hunting wont be easy for you, no single wolf can take down a bull elk, don't believe otherwise.
- Be cautious, other loners will not always be kind. You live in a desolate land food is scarce.
- Most loners will be given an amount of time to pack up and get out. This means: Find a pack or the resident, permanent, lone wolves will force you out.
- You do not own these lands.
- You are a rogue, starting a pack is not going to happen. If you are lucky enough to find a mate you will not have pups, and if you do, the elements and lack of food will kill them.
- Welcome to the real world, everything just got harder.
Ranks
Do you really think we have a system? Well sort of, but this isn't a family...
Resident: A permanent loner. These wolves, although sometimes used by packs as a sort of guide or mercenary, are forever destined to live in the desolate place that is the outskirt of Kouhai. These are the loners you do not want to cross, they have no boundaries, no care for others, and they will gladly show it.
Banished Wolves: These wolves have been driven from their packs, they have been sent here to pay for their crimes. These wolves are on their way to returning to their original pack or they are joining another. This land serves only as a means to an end for them.
Rogue: A simple loner, passing through, or making his way to a new pack, this is only a crossing point for these wolves. These wolves must join a pack or risk death by the land or the Resident Loners.
