These are things we came up with about Hybrid's character leading the loners:
Talen: how about her wolf is one of the first wolves, too, and she was supposed to meet also but she never showed up and she was stuck with the loner lands, which weren't good lands to have a pack in so instead her wolf wanders there and enforces rules there.
That's good. Earlier I had an idea where her wolf would have been there before the first three showed up, so shse helps to make sure no one claims the loner lands.
see i was thinking her wolf would be the rebel one.. the one who doesnt want a pack.. and she makes sure no one claims the loner lands... and if they do she's there to stop it
So, Hybrid, you can use one of these ideas if you want or come up with your own..

I like the thrid and second one, Mongri has always been my rebel wolf, and although she knows about the packs she sticks mainly to the outskirts and makes sure things keep going as planned. I would like her to travel into the lands if she could.

Should we accept loners now??? or wait for everyone to reach at least five pack members? or five more members?

I think loners would be ok a little later, after we get packs slightly more established. They could interact with other "pack" wolves before they go into the pack, or go into the territory but not agree to join, or something like that. It would make it realistic.. but maybe we should wait a day or two

Well, pack wolves are typically very protective of territories, I would think that any loner found on packlands without prior permission would be attacked. I mean, maybe on the borders of the territory, or in the unclaimed lands or something.

I understand the idea of territory and boundaries and yes, in actuality, wolves in a pack will kill, and sometimes even eat, the loners they catch. They also kill coyotes, foxes, and run off most other competition, however we have in the past had wolves coexisting and befriending these animals. I'm merely stating that if a Loner moves onto pack territory it wouldn't be as a permanent situation, but only passing through, or sneaking around. I'm fine with Talen's ideas of her being a rebel, it gives the role play a unified antagonist. Or maybe she is just there to keep the Loner lands from being claimed, but in a sense doesn't that mean that she has claimed them? In all honesty, if you guys pick an idea I'll make it work.

Well if you want your character to join a pack, hybrid, she is more then welcome too. I mean if one trys to claim the land i bet the others will try and take over it or something... If another wolf enters another territory it all depends on the wolf, and the pack. It would be like romeo and Juliet type of deal..

No, I'm fine with the Loner status. I'm wondering if the Loners can only be in the Loner territories or can they move around and travel if they return their eventually.

My thoughts on that is, yes they can roam lands... but they wouldnt survive if they pick a fight with a pack, since they would be more weak due to lack of food.

Alright, so they are allowed on pack lands, are they allowed to hunt there? I'd think not, but I guess it depends.

no, i don't think they are... since those are the packs only way of food.. because i don't believe other packs can come hunt on our lands either, unless they ask first type of deal...

Here's some ideas, in bullet form! =D - Loners who cross boundaries unannounced do so at their own risk, however they risk being attacked, maimed, mauled, or killed.
- Loners who announce their presence should be greeted, but not attacked unless an Alpha decides so, think of it as a sort of Parlay. (POTC anyone?)
- Loners cannot hunt on pack lands, and if caught doing so, the pack can do what they see fit. See above.
- In the off chance that a wolf from a pack walks onto Loner Lands, the same rules apply. Loner's can and have the choice of attacking a wolf from a pack based on their own need for survival. (there's not much food to go around out there)
- Loners can not win a fight against a Pack of wolves (nor should they be stupid enough to try).
I feel like Scar from the Lion King
