Koer
Dog (Estonian) / kur / Toby
Gender: Male
Species: A mix of german shepherd and unknown wolf
Age: 4 years
Pack: Ileai
Rank: Queros, wanting a Beta position
Power:
Koer can controll vibrations, such as tremors in the ground or sound waves. He can magify them, change their course, or change the frequency and make things shake. He could get someone's attention by shaking the ground beneath their feet so that only the other wolf could notice it. His power is also good for scattering prey. But he can't create huge earthquakes as it is too much for him to handle in his thin body.
Appearance:
The top half of Koer's short pelt is shiny and black, the only exceptions being the brownish spots on his back and Little tan marks on his face that look like eyebrows. His coloration shows his german shepherd side with tan fur down his legs and under his muzzle. His back paws fade into white, but they are often dirty and appear muddy brown. There really is no doubt that he is different. His eyes are small and orange-yellow, set perfectly in his narrow skull. He has one deep scar on his right side's shoulder, where a hunter's arrow grazed him during his days in the hunting woods.
Koer is shorter than an avereage wolf, with a thin frame and good length. He may not be as tall as other wolves but he certainly has a presence to him. His narrow stare is an alarming warning signal, and his body language is easy to read.
Personality:
The male who found Koer wanted to detatch him from his other life and embrace his wolf side. Koer was consequently hardened, and he keeps his kind mother off of his mind as well as he can, although he does still miss her greatly. He isn't very comfortable around females who act motherly, and he might try to avoid one at the risk of appearing rude. He gets rude to shield himself, to prevent others from showing kindness to him that reminds him of the past. Repect, on the other hand is totally different. After all he's been through, he knows he deserves repect, and you ought to pay mind to that.
Koer will be loyal in a pack only to give his own life meaning. It makes him feel like a peice of a puzzle, and it's helpful for him. He wants a job that will give him things to do and keep his mind busy. He will remember himself as a loner when he comes in contact with one, but he won't disobey an alpha's rules on dealing with trespassers because of this. Koer can appear grumpy
There is a softer side to this hybrid, however. Koer takes a long time to make an impression on, but if you befriend him you have made a lifelong companion.
History:
Koer's life started out in a hunter's cabin in the woods. His mother was the human's german sheherd, and his father a local wolf. He was born on the wooden floor before the hunter's fireplace on a winter night, in a litter of four. His mother granted him the name Koer, while his human called him Toby. At first the pups were accepted as normal german shepherd pups, concieved from one of the other dogs at the cabin, and his siblings were handed off or sold to other humans. Koer happened to be the one who was kept. Until he started to grow up, that is. Koer's wolfish features started to show as he got older. He heard the hunter bragging to his friends and making jokes on how he should have sold the others for more, realizing the truth about the animal. Koer thought he'd be living his life as a hunter's dog, until his owner started hearing stories about people who had the same situation. At the slightest display of violence, Koer was chased out of the cabin at the end of a gun. The hunter called his mother a very *friendly* person, and Koer snapped. He never saw his mother again.
Thankfully, a wolf named Kento found Koer and took him in. He was raised in the woods near his previous home but he never saw his old family again, mainly because they were slowly wandering farther away and he never noticed until they were a ways off. He was manipulated and trained by Kento to be cold and heartless. A hunting incident caused him to realize what he was becoming. Feeling betrayed, he left Kento. He doesn't talk about the incident to anyone.
Koer wandered into Kouhai blindly, as if he was drawn to the place. He really can't explain why he ended up here. He wanted to join a pack he could put his effort and trust in, one that he knew would be successful.
