Ayame
Ayame- A-yah-me. Demon Princess.

Gender: Female
Age: 3 Years, 10 Months.
Species: Grey Wolf
Pack: Aquene
Rank: Armo
Appearance:
Ayames pelt is many different colors, but it blends in well with Aquene's plains. Her muzzle is light brown on top, fading to a pure white underneath. Her muzzle is tippied with a pitch black nose. Farther up from her nose, her head's fur is made up largely of a mixture of dark and light greys. Around her eyes, though, the fur becomes a lighter, almost tan color. Her eyes are bright yellow, with medium-sized, round pupils. Her ears have a dark, golden brown fur, but are tipped with black.
Her body is slender, but muscular. She's built for speed, and there isn't an ounce of fat on her. She's all muscle. Her legs are long, as is her tail. Her dense, short fur is pretty much made up of wide strips of color. Her chest is a light tan, fading to white as it nears her muzzle. The first strip of color on her upper body is a dark brown, fading to black as it nears the next strip of color, which is a deep brown, similar to the trunk of a tree. There is a thin strip of black, that seperates the brown from the next wide strip, which is a pure white. After the white, her fur is a mixture of brown and black. Her long tail is white and brown fur mixed, with a deep black tip.
Personality:
Ayame is a keen hunter, she considers herself one of the best even if that may not be true. She manages to bring food home nearly everytime, except maybe during the cold winter months. She isn't as good at fighting though, and never provokes another wolf. She will, however, attack if she is attacked first. She will defend herself, even if she can't do it well.
Ayame has a secret desire to be a mother, and she simply adores pups. She would love to have a mate of her own, but just hasn't found the right male for her yet, although she hasn't given up hope. She hasn't shared this desire with anyone, although she doesn't know why. Its a pretty normal thing to want, and yet she keeps it to herself.
When Ayame is hunting, its like shes in a whole other world. When she catches sight of prey, its like theres nothing else in the world that matters except her, the prey, and whoever is helping her hunt. She becomes blindsighted to anything around her, focusing her whole attention on the deer, or whatever unlucky animal that happens to be seen by her when she is like this. Although she is a fairly good hunter, this isn't always a good thing.
Ayame isn't the least bit lazy. She loves running and chasing, and shes a very fun-loving wolf. Shes pretty easy to get along with, as she doesn't judge or discriminate, and she has a great sense of humor.
Power: (optional)
Ayame has the power of Water Breathing. She can breath underwater as easily as she can breath oxygen, and therefor she can stay underwater for an unlimited amount of time. This could help her fish, if she should ever need to. Sadly, this ability only works in Freshwater.
History:
Ayame was born to two loner wolves, and she hated that life. Her parents had told her about the packs that lived on the lands around them, and about one pack in particular that they left. Aquene. Ayame thought that the packs lives seemed so much better then the life of a loner, and she set out to find the "Aquene" pack, the second she could make it on her own, away from her parents. Her mother led her the first part of the trip, helping her make over half the distance. This was a great deal of help to her, as she was still young. But, in the end, she still had to make 1/3 of the trip alone, as her mother did not want to get to close to pack lands.
It was on this trip that Ayame discovered her power, water-breathing. There had been a fairly deep pond, although she had thought it was shallow. She could see nice sized fish swimming about, and she had been hungry enough to think that she could catch one. In the end, she fell in, and was unfamiliar to swimming. Sure she was going to drown, she gave up struggling and let nature take its course. To her surprise, she could breath underwater! This amazed her, as she thought that there was nothing special about her at all. She played around in the water, but no matter how many times she tried, she could not catch a fish. She gave up, and continued on her way.
Half starved, she soon found the pack, as her parents told her where to look, and what land they lived on. She talked to their leader, Nevar, and she was a little frightened of him at first. He appeared to show no emotion, although something in his eyes let her know that he was a strong, reliable wolf, and that she could trust him. This made her fear slip away. It wasn't easy joining the pack, as Nevar wasn't quick to let unfamiliar wolves join. She told him her story, about how she didn't like the life of a loner, and she told him her power, and how she found out about it. After much talking and consideration, and to Ayames good luck, the strong leader let her in.
Ayame adjusted well to the way of pack life, and she knew that this was where she was meant to be, this was her place. It was good that she joined young, though, so that she didn't miss any training, and the others had had more patience with her.
