Faded Green Time: A little pass Mid-DayWeather: Its the first sign of a hot summer, the temperature is over 85 degrees. Clear skies, no sign of rain fall.Location: A mile away from the River. A sound of rumbling echos through the grasslands, as thousands of steps roar through the ground. The buffalo that roam the plains started to move from one area to another. Preparing themselves for the hottest summer yet. Nevar stood from a distance, a few moments ago he was at the river with a female named Wishaway. Now he was in the open staring down the herd that was few miles away. He stood there, there was no question about it that he was alpha. For a second, Nevar felt his own emotion.

Kaden stood behind his new leader, looking out with fascination at the giant beasts they shared their territory with. The ground shook when they moved, and this is the prey they were about to go after? One unlucky step could crush him. Kaden told himself to stop thinking about that, and started to scope out a buffallo closer to death. Would that be the good one to take down because it is weaker, or would it be bad because of the chance of disease? Kaden didn't know.
"Alpha, one of them has a limp," he said to Nevar, "It's in the middle of the group, away from view. They want to hide it." It would be easy for Kaden to get lost in that rolling group, but he tried to swallow his fear. He wanted to stand out as a useful member, and his sonar-like power was aiding him nicely now.

Nevar looks to Kaden as he spoke of the weak buffalo. He nods in agreement and looks back to the herd and took notice on how the buffalo moved, how they stayed together while one was slowing them down. He looks back to Kaden as he began to feel his emotion. Was he scared? Or just nervous to hunt large animals. "No worries Kaden, once they notice us they will run. And when they run, we will notice more then just the weak are slow." He says as he moves his eyes back to the open lands. "That one you see will be our target. Where are the others? he soon spoke as he realize, not even Wishaway.

Wishaway padded up and stood next to Nevar. I'm here. I circled the heard and there are a couple of weak ones. They are all really fat, this hunt. Wishaway heard herself speaking, but her heart was beating to loud for her top hear.
It was the combination of standing so close to Nevar that their pelts touched and the thrill of the impending hunt.

Nevar emotion began to change, switching from the worried Kaden to the Nervous/heart pounding Wishaway. Its surprising that he hasn't gone crazy, with all the mix emotions. He never knew what emotion was his, question was, he never really understood how to control it. He looks to Wishaway then back to the herd, "We shall wait for everyone before we make a move. This won't be successful until everyone is here." He tells them as their leader.

Dice stood completely still, her hind legs posed in an awkward position and her muscles bulging. Her torso was laying on the ground while her other half was up on a rock. She was currently stretching her muscles, feeling the sweet pain as she pulled the tendons farther and farther. She growled softly, a faint grin appearing on her leathery black lips. She curved her back, letting her rear limbs slide from the rock and onto the ground. She dug her claws into the rough earth, closing her eyes to enjoy the feeling of dragging her claws through the tender soil.
Thin eyelids fluttered open to reveal pale, golden pools. She inhaled deeply, her little chest rising out with the effort. She lifted herself from the ground, sauntering forward in a graceful fashion. Her bushed appendage swayed hither and yon while she strolled in the direction of a few of her packs members. Two males…possibly a female. She lifted her snout up into the dense, muggy air. Yes, there was in fact a female. Hmm, the more the merrier. She shrugged, smiling faintly as she neared the small group.

Wishaway growled and the still air around them began to blow furiously. She turned towards the approaching wolf, seeing that it was a Fae, she reguarded her as more competition.
Power surged through Wishaway as she looked down upon the Fae. "Who are you?" She growled, loud enough for the Fae to hear and the strong wind became a gentle breeze that carried her tantalizing voice for miles.

Nevar looks to Wishaway as her emotions changed rapidly. He then felt a new emotion, of another body and he quickly turned his eyes, he smiled as he saw the female enter the site. "Calm youself Wishaway, she is our guest. I met her awhile ago, her name be Dice. Now respect her, and calm yourself." As he soon sent an emotion out of his body to enter her's to relax her, to easy her emotion. To make her not feel like she has to compete to be somebody.

Wishaway felt her body calm imedatly, thinking it was her own feelings she pushed the forced calmness away. Her hostile greeting became softer as a result of Nevar's power but her stance stayed as hostile as her voice had been.
She didn't like having a stranger so close, she didn't know if this Dice character could be trusted. "I can only respect those I know I can trust, Nevar." Wishaway growled to her leader. He knew how she felt, though she didn't know how extencivly he did.
Wishaway felt cornered. She didn't like the feeling of being told to do things, Nevar knew that. She didn't like not knowing if she could trust Dice, Nebvar knew that. But she thought he didn't know that she felt that if she left them, she'd lose him to Dice before she could muster up the Courage to tell him.
She felt trapped and she didn't like it one bit.

Nevar's words gave Kaden a little courage. He looked at the other two now as they came. "Hello, Dice," he said as soon as Nevar mentioned her name. He only looked at her for a moment before returning his attention to the buffalo. After two seconds, his tongue was hanging out.

Nevar's eyes soon locked onto Wishaway, her words over took his body and anger became of him. "Wishaway, you trust everyone until they give you a reason to not trust them. WE ARE FAMILY! Aquene means peace, peace is what we stand for. Do you understand!? Now calm yourself, or i will leave you alone at the dens to think it over. " as his idea of a pack was not worrying of what one would do, but what one could help with. HE trusted everyone, he never not trusted one, unless they had a recorded. After speaking his eyes soon shifted back to Dice " I'm sorry about that Dice, please come join us on this hunt. Everyone is needed" He recollects himself. His calm feeling soon spreads amongst them.

Xanthia finally found where he pack had gotten to. She breathed a sigh of relief as she trotted up to the group, apparently getting ready to hunt. "Hi ya!" She called, trotting up next to Kaden. "I lost you guys, I must have gotten distracted by the cool bug I found. I didn't notice that everyone went away." She chuckled. "So, whats going on?" She said scanning the buffalo herd.

Kaden's deep thinking wouldn't have been broken if Xanthia was a bit softer. His head turned to look at her trotting over with zeal. He licked up his spittle, regreting his little quirk. How had he developed it, anyway?? Sigh.. "We're going after the weakling," he said to her . just as he spoke the words, he caught a glimpse of it in the crowd. "See it? There is is." He wondered what kind of texture such a beast's meat would have. He'd be eating buffallo from now on,, wasn't that just amazing? Once again he caught himself with his tongue wagging. >.>.... sigh..

The scent of prey had drawn the strange she-wolf here, the sounds of a pack which should have sent her darting for the grass had merely sent her forward. Her reckless abandon was fueled by her courageous mentality, this would surely place her in a dangerous spot, but hell, what was life if it wasn't risky. The soft breeze kept her upwind of the pack, tickling the mutilated and scarred flesh that decorated her tinted pelt. Her mangled face was still in a sense pretty, but in no way was flawless with silky fur, instead it glistened in graying slashes and puckers in the light. Her steely blue eyes seemed to be misplaced in the sea of grass. The scents of wolves crossed through her nostril, picking themselves through her senses, and one alone peaked through the rest. It was mingled in but not lost.
Nevar.
She lifted her head now from her crouched position, she was built for stealth, speed, and hiding. her long neck looked over the grass and there, amidst other wolves, stood Nevar, his gray coat still as pristine as she'd remembered it. A feeling of joy seemed to race through her but it was quickly smothered by another feeling of complete and utter defiance, she had no idea how he would react to her. Despite thier friendship from the past, there was the chance that her, being a known loner the first of the wolves of Kouhai, would play against her, or did he even know she was here at all? Or was her presence merely a rumor, like a bad dream come back to haunt these wolves.
Mongri moved closer until she was but a ten feet from the pack, if need be she would dart, had there been only a few wolves she would have stood her ground, but not with all of them, no, that was suicide. She felt her breath catch in her throat as she looked over the pack and listened in on their conversation. Her body quivering with anticipation, not fear. She would appear so untrustworthy in front of these wolves, yet, maybe, Nevar would be there to ---- to what? Protect her? --- Mongri shook the idea away.
She took a deep breath, she saw one female glaring at another, a male wolf speaking softly about a week animal, and there was Nevar looking conflicted amongst what must have been a turmoil of emotion. She raised to her full height, tall and lean, the thick wirey muscles showing under her spring fur, her long tail held out straight behind her, her neck at level with her back, ears relaxed.
"Nevar?" Her voice questioned, she knew the wolves would have seen her now, noticed this horrid ghost of an intruder, and yet she stood her ground. She had the traits of an alpha for a loner, and as she looked at Nevar, she hoped when he turned around that he would see her and not what she was. "You should cut the herd, it'll be easier to draw the weak one."

A soft voice enters Nevar's ears, 'Nevar' this familiar voice says. He slowly turns from the craziness of his pack to the voice that spoke of his name. Quickly a picture appear into his head before turning, without a doubt he quickly spotted the familiar face. "Mongri?" as he spoke out loud. Her body in the same shape as always, as her stance showed that she still had that loner attitude. Her emotions were not readable, something he loved about her. He could feel his own around her. As she spoke about splitting the herd he turned his head back to the buffalo, he kept his eyes on the herd as he spoke "Yes, but more wolves may be needed, care to join for one hunt? " as he invites her in on the party. His thoughts in this was hoping she would join his pack, his family. IT was always nice to have a history with someone.
