Crows are people too! Time: early morningWeather: Cool gentle winds, sway trees, and the sun turns frost to dew. The sky is bright blue, with no cloud insight.. Location: This is were the river runs shallow, with little or no current. They water is clear, so the little fish below the surface can plainly be seen. There are a few small trees that dot the land scape A dozen crows played in the shallow water at Corvus' feet. He smiled fondly at them. These were some of the few crows that inhabit the plain, they had come to Corvus during the night while he was sleeping. He woke to find them watching over him silently in the trees. His old friend, Kalasu sat sourly on Corvus' head. Kalasu always got jealous, when other crows were around. Right now, Kalasu's feathers were puffed up, and he was clicking his beak together while eying the other crows vehemently. "Oh calm down, brother. They will leave soon enough. They only wanted to come meet me." Corvus said, trying to look up at Kalasu, still perched on his head. Kalasu nipped Corvus' ear. "They shouldn't be here in the first place." He said. Corvus smiled. To any other wolf, Kalasu would just be cawing, but Corvus, along with the ability to attract and control crows, could understand them. They put words together differently, but Corvus was used to it by now. In fact, he caught himself speaking like them from time to time. Over time he taught Kalasu to speak like him, but other crows still speak backward. When he traveled, crows in the area would come to him and then and leave shortly after, but in Kalasu's case, he never left. Corvus saved Kalasu from a fox, and let Kalasu perch on his back or head while Kalasu was recovering from his wounds, and they have been together ever since. One of the crows in the water stopped playing and looked up at Corvus. "Live with a pack, you do not. Pack lands, this is..." The crow informed him. "Ahh." Corvus frowned. "Well that is a problem, but I am tired, and they aren't around. So I will stay here awhile." Kalasu sigh. "I don't believe that is the best, Corvus." "Well then you can go by yourself then." Kalasu grumbled, and shifted his feet on Corvus' head. "I'm just kidding, brother." Corvus said laughing. "You know I don't want you to go."

Wishaway stalked towards the River, picking up the pace when she scented another wolf. Then she heard the talking Crows. She came to stand infront of a Loner male. a circle of fire was suddenly around the loner, blocking all exits.
"I don't think you'll be staying as long as you think.Who are you? Why are you here? And make your crows stop talking! They are so much more annoying than mice!" she growled, still angry about the happenings at the Grassland.
She could understand every word the crows said and it was driving her NUTS!!

Corvus was taken by great surprise, he lept up, and Kalasu took to the air. The crows in the water jumped into the sky, spraying water everywhere in their fright. They gathered together, and flew at Wishaway, they didn't peck her, or scratch her, they just flew around her in a frenzy, screeching "Attack, Attack, Attack!"
Corvus threw his nose to the sky, and let out a thunderous howl that echoed across the plains. There was a short pause then load caws could be heard from all around. The sky became dotted with black birds. Corvus threw an evil smile at wishaway before calling up to Kalasu. "Brother! Get above me!" The fire was making Corvus sticky and hot. The ends of his hair was starting to burn. He had to find away out. Kalasu quickly flew above Corvus, and Corvus immediately melted into his shadow, he wouldn't be able to escape the fire its self, but he would be able to escape the heat. Kalasu flew in circles above the ring of fire, so Corvus could stay in his shadow. "Kill the fire, or they'll attack!" Kalasu croaked. About twenty more birds had arrived, they stayed high in the sky, circling and cawing like madmen.

Wishaway smiled a devious smile and a sudden ball of flame encircled her fully. "Now why would I do that? You haven't given me a good reason for you to be on Aquene land yet so I can stay here all day." She was still visible in her ball of fire and could step right out of it if she pleased. It didn't hurt her, she barley even felt any heat.
Then came the water, a long whip like part of the river began to smack at the birds and the Wind was began to blow so that the Crows were pushed right towards the whip.
"Shut up you stupid balls of feathers!" She screeched loudly.
Then to top it all off, a cave of earth encircled the two wolves. They could neither see nor hear the screeching Crows and the only source of light in the earth cave was from the fires. The wind outside began blowing on its own and the water fell back to the river with a SMACK without the influence of Wishaway.
It had drain quite a lot out of her using three elements at once, but now she only had to use two, so much easier.
"Now do I have to repeat myself or do you remember the questions I just asked you?" she growled, eyes sparkling mischievously.

In his shadowed state, Corvus heard the wolf, but didnt reply. He sensed the darkness that surrounded him, and he couldn't help but luagh. "You fool! Why supply a shadow darkness?" Corvus' voice filled the closed in space. Moving from shadow to shadow, he was able to escape the ring of fire. He made his way towards the wolf. He climped up the wall behind her. His head and shoulders soldified, the rest of his body still a shadow. He bit her tail playfully bit her tail before returning as a shaow. "In my defense, you attacked me without any warning. And with fire no less. And you insulted my friends. Do you really think that was nessary? Did you really have to over react? Hmmm? What if I had been some madman? Now, if you would just calm down, and stop you attacks, I would happily answer your questions." There was a pause, where Corvus reflected on his action. "And I'm sorry I sent my crows on you. I was rash, and needless to say, freaked out. You seem to have had a bad day..."
Now that some time had passed, alot more birds had shown up. Outside their bubble of earth there was a chourus of caw and screeching. The crows were in a frenzy. There was thumping noise on the other side of the cave, as the birds tried to dig corvus out.

Wishaway merely yawned as he melted into the shadows. "I only did this to get away from all that Screeching! I know they are good helpers, as are mice and other animals, but how do you put up with all those words at the same time?! And As for you being a madman, well you are no more of a madman than me or any other wolf. If you were a madman you would have tried to charge through the fire."
She snarled loudly as he bit her tail slightly. Then she laughed.
"These were no attacks, merely defense on my part. I am not partial to your feathery friends when they circle me and screech ATTACK at the top of their little lungs. And as for their feeble attempts to dig you out, it can not be done. They will hit a solid wall of clay soon."
Wishaway stretched her back legs and lay down, unworried about the stranger she was with. Her ears would be able to hear him if he made one wrong move.
"I attacked you with fire because it's my best means of defense. My attacks never started, Corvus. Your bird friends have hit the clay wall and are screeching what I assume to be your name, Corvus. Now the answer's please Corvus."
Wishaway's eyes ran over the male, he was handsome yes, but her love was for Nevar only...or so she thought.

"Hmm, they did do that didnt they? But notice how they did not lay a hand on you. They were just worried about me of couse." He was getting tired of this game, he had places to be, things to do...Well not really, but he could think of much more productive things to be doing then to be playing with some high strung chick, taking out her anger on him.
"Okay, I come with no ill-means. So if i send my crows away, will you stop the use of your powers? It sems fair does it not? I promise to enudre you questions, once I am in open air, and we can disscus this face to face." With out waiting for her answer, he poke his head out of the shadows, and barked. The crows fell silent almost reluctantly, and their reating wing beats could be heard. "And as a show of good will, I will come out of my shadow. He pulled competely out, appeaing to the side of Wishaway.

From a distance the alpha of Aquene stood, but he wasn't alone, his pack stood behind him along with a familiar wolf of the loner lands. He watched the madness happen, until the point where they could not see anymore. Anger was over powering him, his rage was in fact set off by the female he thought could be his alpha would take control so quickly. He was angry that she treated loners who didn't cause any harm horribly. This was not how his pack was suppose to act, this was not what he wanted. He wanted peace, love, and hope. Friends, family, and love is what keeps his pack going. Not hate, not questioning if they can be trusted or not. It's the fact you can trust them, and you can love anyone and everyone. Nevar lift his lip in disgust, as he watched her power of earth shadowed over them (wishaway, corvus). He sent an emotion to everyone, showing his anger. Making them fear him, as they should fear an alpha when they are upset. He wanted to confront the two wolves, but there was no way. His anger just grew, calmness was not a thought that crossed his mind.

Xanthia had not known Nevar for long, but she had enough sense to realize he was really freakin mad. Xanthia pulled her ears back and whimpered. She didnt know what was going on, but she knew it had somthing to do with what was going on in the mound of eart, the crows were attacking before. "Um, Nevar, I can take a look for you...I can use my power to go see what is going on and even convey a message." He voice came out feeble, weary of her alpha.

Nevar looks to Xanthia as she spoke. His eyes were furious, but after hearing her words of help he calm. The emotions in his Burly Wood Brown eyes were changing. Finally calmness reached out and he moved his eyes back towards the mount of earth that covered the two wolves. "Yes, please go take a look. Stay there, until they notice you. And then report what happen." He says putting full trust into Xanthia, and it was Xanthia's words that could bring an end to Wishaway's thoughts of alpha.

Dice watched in fluid emotions, pale golden pools widening in terror. There were birds…everywhere. Though, specifically flanking a male wolf. Were her eyes deceiving her or was there a plethora of ebony colored birds in front of her? She cringed away from them, her face distorting in disgust. She was now wishing that she hadn’t joined her pack members. This was a terrible mistake, and it was her fault completely. There was just unflagging enthusiasm for this fire in her that it compelled her to tag along and see what action she could get into. The gods liked to play dirty tricks on her, particularly ones that involved birds. Her stubby ears flattened against her cranium, eyes narrowing slightly.
She grunted softly as she stalked over to a small bush, crouching her small body next to it. She shuffled her paws quietly on the ground below her, studying how the male smiled at them as if they were his children. She lowered her head onto her dainty paws. She snorted softly, trying not to make the others too aware of her presence now. Maybe if she stayed quiet and didn’t move at all, she would fade into the background and the wolves would notice her. Though, she knew her efforts were going to be wasted, for she had blindingly white fur that anyone could spot. She looked towards Nevar, wondering what he was going to do next. He seemed so livid, and he obviously wasn’t trying to mask it on his face.

Xanthia nodded grimly, and set her jaw with determenation. "Okay, please watch over my body, and don't worry, they wont notice me at all." A blank look came to Xan's eyes, and her body crumpled heavily to the ground. Xanthis had just extracted her 'essence' from her body, and was no able to move freely through the air without detection, she was just an invisible ghost now. She cringed as her body fell hard, she wouldnt feel the bruises now, but when she returned to it she would. 'Note to self...Lay down first before leaving body.' She rose into the air, and shot off like a bullet towards the mound. She didnot slow her breakneck pace as she neared it, and only flinched alittle, as she passed through the earth. She was going to fast, and went right through to the other side. She was already half way out over the river when she realized her mistake and stopped. She blussed, glad that no one had witnessed it. She reenter the mound, and was able to hear the conversation between the two. Corvus had just stopped his plea of her stopping her powers, and had appeared seemingly out of nowhere. Xanthia felt her jaw drop.
Kalasu saw the other group of wolves not far off. He was practicually having a heart attack, not able to see Corvus. He knew Corvus was unhurt, he would have sensed it otherwise. He flapped fracticaly over to the wolves, sqwaking like crazy. He knew they couldnt understand him but he tried anyway. "PLEASE!! PLEASE!! NEEDS HELP, CORVUS DOES!!" Kalasu was sp distressed that he reverted back to the ways of speaking backwards. He flapped around infront of Nevar, and then shot of toward the mound, before coming back to Nevar, trying to get Nevar to come.

Nevar reached out as he took notice as the gravity of her body took hold. Sadly, he couldn't get to it in time and he watched her hit the ground a little hard. His eyes slightly closed feeling the pain in his body. He then stared at the lifeless body as she took off. He slowly turned his eyes to the crows as they flapped away, as a blurry image soon came down from that crowd towards him. He stood tall as he took his alpha stance, but as the bird flapped squawking, his eyes giving away that he couldn't understand. He then soon figure he could use his power upon the bird, and try to understand the emotion to understand his nervous flappings wings. So without question he took the emotion of the bird, quickly he felt the scared, nervousness of the bird. But why? Why would this bird be scared, was the loner wolf in there his friend? or was there a bird trapped inside as well? So many question, but then the bird flapped away. Taking his emotion away, he soon realize what the bird was doing. He was showing signs of wanting him to follow. He looks back to Xanthia, he couldn't leave her body there, it wasn't how he was. He soon yells to the bird in a friendly "I can not leave her body here. "

As Kaden neared themound, he could sense the animals as if they were standing in the open, but a dirt heap blocked them fron view. Since the clay wasn't alive, he didn't sense it. Kaden watched with wonder as the essence Xanthia's body. He could tell where it was going, because it conatined some of her life. he was probably the only one who could follow her movement.
He stood behind his alpha untill the bird came squaking at him. "Nevar, there are two wolves inside that mound," he said calmly. He watched the bird start to fly. He understood the alpha's anger, he would be angry too. A fire wasn't safe in grasslands. "Do you want me to follow it?" he asked, understanding that Xanthia's body needed to be watched over.

Nevar looked to Kaden and quickly nods " Please." he tries to say calmly. HE stood tall as he answered, his tail high in the air his nose lifted enough to view what was happening. He watched the bird, he watched kaden, and most of all he watched that mount of earth.
