Evening Stroll Time: Shortly before sunsetWeather: Clear skies, 90 degreesLocation: On the banks of the riverThe excitement of the day had finally worn off, and Adahi'i padded slowly down the large shores of the river. The heat of the summer was taking its toll. The grand river was down to half its usual size, though its water still flowed with the life-giving drink. She stopped for a moment and dipped her maw into the cool liquid, taking in a few laps. She looked up, noting the bits of life that seemed so much more common around this part of the pack lands; a hare hopping back into the grasses, a few bird preening themselves in the shallows. Nothing could quite take her mind away from the odd appearance of the female they had saved that morning.

A splash echo the area, as Nevar walked in the water's shadow end. He looked up and took notice of Adahi'i. "Hello there, it's pretty hot out today isn't it." as his feet continue to make a splash as he walked closer to her. He was keeping his paws from burning, even the water felt warm to him. His body looked sore, but he made sure he kept his posture right. His emotions soon changed as he got closer to Adahi'i, feeling everything she felt. For once he didn't mind, it kept his thoughts off his own. After a few more steps he was close enough to sit down, his tail now swaying in the water, making a new noise to the ear. "It has been a busy day today hasn't it, I thank you for the help. " He nods, as his thoughts soon remember of Mawla. A smirk some what appear, but quickly disappeared. He could not think of happy thoughts, at least not today.

The femme jumped slightly at the splash and looked towards the oncoming figure of the alpha. She couldn't help but feel slightly flustered in his presence, though she knew he could tell, and that only made it worse. Looking down towards the water she tried to ignore her nerves. "Yes, I'm looking forward to the milder seasons."
Adahi'i let her eyes travel back towards her leader. Nevar was obviously upset by the events of the day, but how could he be so tied up on some female she assumed was brand new to the lands? His second comment snapped her back to reality. After he sat, she lay down in the shallows, allowing the liquid to cool her belly. "I don't know about you, but I ready for there to be less excitement around here. But you are, of course, welcome, m'Lord" A smile of her own settled in for a moment, then faded as she noticed his short flash of happiness leave"If I may be so bold, sir.... Who is she?"((If it's been too long, Snow, just ignore it ))

That did look refreshing compare to what he was doing. He soon smiled as the thought of refreshment came to him, and he lowered his front paws down as he laid his belly in the water. His eyes closed as the water soon touched his skin, his mouth slightly opened as a the smiled stayed on his face. It felt amazing, the water was not yet warm but rather a nice chill to the hot body. He opened his eyes and closed his mouth and looked at Adahi'i "This feels refreshing." He comments, as the expression on his face made it more realistic. He looked away as he looked off into the distance, the little breeze that sweeps by once in awhile made it very calming. For once he felt his own emotions. "I guess you can say she is a lover." He says shocked that he could even love a wolf. His emotions never made him love another in any other form, just to love them as if they were a brother, sister, a mother, or a father, never a mate. He looked at Adahi'I, he had no reason to lie or even to try and hide his emotions. He believed everyone should know how they feel, even if he didn't want to tell or even know. He felt better though, in that few seconds of calmness he felt a lot better. He focused, he felt, and he knew it was time to understand his gift. "Do you feel anything?" He says with his calm voice, as he asked in wondering. For once, he wanted them to tell him and not him feel them.

As the alpha lay down next to her in the shallows, Adahi'i was grateful that he was taking time to relax. She let her own eyes close to focus on the tranquility of the water. The words he spoke next cut the relaxation short. It took much discipline to not let her emotions scream out to him. A lover? Her lean muscles tensed only for a moment, but she was certain it was enough for the Nevar to notice. Resigned, she sighed softly and rolled herself to lay upon her feet instead of on her side. She heard his question and stopped moving. Slowly, her head lowered, but turned to look up to the male. Happiness for your new found love. I hope that someday I will be lucky enough to find myself in your position."

Did he want to learn what she felt, or did he just want to know on his own? He felt like it was rude to over come and feel their feelings as well as changing it to make it much more of a comfort zone then a sad, depressing zone. “What is wrong, please do tell me.” He asked with a sweet calm voice. He was the alpha, and by asking he figure she would tell him right away. Not realizing that her feelings could be much harder to explain to him. His love, Mawla, was the first he ever felt an emotion of his own. How could he not love Mawla, he learned to control it just when she came. She was something that had to be in his life, and without her he would be a bit lost. He would question his faith, and what he was supposed to do. Would he go back to being asexual? Would he lose his control and feel everyone’s emotion, he didn’t know, the worst part he didn’t know that Mawla was in a fatal stage and that he would experience it rather soon.

His head was hung low as if in shame as Squall walked solemnly to Nevar, he spoke in a calm serene whisper "My lord, Mawla, has passed away from us." he sighed, and bowed in front of his alpha, "I tried all I could but the infection went to the bone. I am truly sorry my lord, you have my sympathy, I know you cared about her as much as she cared for you." he grimaced, and looked Nevar in the eyes. "I've let you down Sire, I promised you she would pull through, alas I have failed." he spoke as he had been whipped, his fluffy tail tucked between his legs. He whispered as the wind picked up, "Anam, de órga" and the wind spoke to him "Taca i síocháin."
Translations- Squall said "Soul, of gold." and the wind said to him "Rest in Peace."

Nevar's head lifted as he heard Squall enter the area, his mind raced with thoughts as his emotions soon changed into sorrow, sadness, failure. He kept silence as his body felt the emotions run through his vain. When Squall soon spoke of tragedy his face expressions soon began to show, he was not disappointed in Squall, he was rather depressed and heart broken. He lift his body up slowly, as the water dripped from his fur. The conversation he just had escaped his mind, and all he thought about was Mawla… Gone. He looked at Squall, what was he suppose to say in this situation, what was he suppose to do, how was he suppose to do it? He soon spoke, "Where is she?", what else could he say. He figure she was in the same spot, but I guess you never know. He did not want to be rude, and he did not want to be mean. He didn't even want to change Squall's emotions and put him at ease. He just wanted to go to her, and see her.

She had been opening her mouth to answer when Squall came with the news. His words hit her like a ton of bricks. Sure, she was jealous of Mawla, but her jealousy would never outweigh the happiness that Nevar had found joy, even if it was another femme. The mood that settled in the open air was heavy. This conversation would have to take place at a much later time. She couldn't bear to burden him with anything more. Slowly she pushed her self up out of the shallows, water dripping from her saturated pelt"Go to her, Nevar. We can talk another time. Is there anything you need of me?" She shook lightly, unintentionally splashing the two males.
