Saying Good-Bye.
Time: It's around 6 am, the sun just came out. The first hour of Sun Light. Weather: The sun just came out as it reaches higher for the sky. The temperature so far is 85°F, as it is expect to warm up to over 100. A few thick clouds are seen in the sky, providing shade for anything underneath them. Possibility of rain, but rather warm rain. Location: Nevar believes that if one should be bury under a dead tree, that their body will give life and bring back the fallen tree. If the body was of a bad soul, the tree will fall over and will be forever gone. So the location is near the River, next to a dead tree, 4 miles away from the den sight, 2 miles from Ileai's territory.
Nevar emotions were easily seen, as his eyes watered, his tail hidden, his face dropped low. Death, was something he was never good at hiding nor did he want to feel anything other then the mourning of the lost soul. He sat down, as Mawla's body laid only a few feet infront of him. He felt it was just yesterday that she came stumbling on to his land, and it felt like a few hours ago that he was snuggled next to her as she laid painless but full of life. Before any of the other wolves would be there, Nevar spoke in a low tone, a rather sad tone to her lifeless body "I'm sorry Mawla, I'm sorry I was not there in time. I should of known, and I should of warn you better. I knew I should of stayed next to you, maybe you would have been alive. I failed you." as he spoke, a tear slowly exits his eyes. Letting it break as it hit the ground. He soon looked up, the tree that showed no life swayed its bare branches. A cool breeze flowing through Nevar's fur, and he looks to Mawla's body. A smile slowly came upon his face as he took notice that her tear drop began to shine. And finally a drop of water fell from the sky.

Kaden could see the tree growing larger as he drew near. He saw Nevar on the ground, and so he walked slowly to give him his time. His tongue did not flop. Though he was in a thoughtful state, it was different, very sober. Mawla had seemed to be doing so well, he thought she would live. But he himself had felt her life flicker out like a flame. Up ahead he saw two bodies, but he could feel only one.
His face naturally had a cartoonish quality, and now Kaden looked like a different wolf. He had found Mawla to be sweet and kind. He wondered how Squall was dealing with this, coping with a feeling of failure and how he had assured them that she would be okay. He was sure this was hard for everyone, and he didn't allow himself any self-pity. It was probably worse for the others.
He sat on his hanches by the tree, being respectful to his alpha but also offering comfort by spacing himself a couple feet away.

His head was low. His yellow glowing eyes were dull, and lifeless. He had been up since three days, he was tired hungry and parched, but some where in his mind he thought he should never return, after what he had told Nevar there was a good chance that his alpha would turn him away. Although he did everything he could possibly do to save the she wolf, he had still failed. Shamefully he slinked his body towards the Alpha who was mourning over the fallen body of Mawla.
As he walked closer he knelt in front of his Alpha, and pleaded "I'm sorry m'lord, I have failed you. I have let you down. I am so ashamed." he cried, the anxiety over whelmed his body and his legs gave way underneath him, as he fell to the ground with a loud thud.

Carger came quietly through the grass, leaving his lands for one of the first times. He had not asked to come; he had not said he was coming. He had just come. He'd left his pack, something he knew he could not do for long. He trusted them, but... He had trusted Mawla, too.
He waited several dozen yards away, until Kaden and Squall had come, before he drew nearer. He did not go within earshot until Squall had spoken, and then he stepped near. He did not say a word in greeting, or in anything else for that matter. He was on the other side of the tree, away from the three who had come before him. He was an outsider, not in their pack, but he honestly didn't care.
The fire that flickered at his paws was white and blue - a pure white of the hottest flame, for purity. And the clear blue of Ileai's lake, for Mawla. He lowered his nose to the earth, and the fire flicked across where she lay for a moment. Carger had not argued over where she would be laid to rest, or how. Looking at Nevar, it was proof of something he had known for some time: Love triumphed over family. Mawla had been a part of his family, but to Nevar...
The fire died, sinking away into an ashless silence, and Carger shook his head for a moment and withdrew. He stood some distance away again, not meeting any of their gazes. Then he looked up at each of them, shame inside of sadness inside of something akin to happiness, almost. Death was not a cruelty, but it was a sadness. He looked to the sky and thought of his own beliefs. He did not believe that there was another life after this one, but he knew dep in his heart that in times of need the dead would endure part of their pain for them.
Perhaps Mawla had not been able to make the heavens cry from afar. But every time rain fell, he would smile in knowing that she was a little nearer to the sky.

Nevar's eyes soon gazed over at Kaden who had been the first to enter. He took notice that he gave him his space, and he didn't mind the space. He bowed his head in respect, and was glad that he had shown up. He did not take in his emotions, nor change them. He felt everyone should feel what they want, and he decided he did not need to know either. He kept his mouth shut, as his eyes soon shifted to Squall. He was not upset with failure, nor disappointed. He had complete faith in him, and he believed he could of fixed her. Maybe Mawla just gave up, and wasn't strong enough or maybe she didn't do everything Squall had asked. It was very questionable of what happen, and he never blamed Squall for it. When he knelt down and apologize, Nevar took in a deep breath and within that breath he felt Squall's emotions. Nevar bowed his head in respect, and finally spoke. Within his tone, you felt the agony and sorrow "You did nothing wrong, you don't need to apologize. You did your best, and I still have faith in what you do. So please my friend, do not put guilt in your blood." As he spoke he quickly let out the breath of air he took in, and in that breath of air he changed Squall emotions. Calming them, making them more at ease, and not in pain. Nevar did not want his beta to feel the way he felt, when it was not truly his fault. As he shifted his eyes back to Mawla he took notice that Carger was across from him. He wasn't sure what he did was right, and he wasn't sure if Carger was upset. He wished more of the pack came, but they had their reasons to why they did not. He soon met the glaze of Carger, as he watch his gift circle Mawla. Feeling the heat he lifted his right paw up feeling like that would help with the warmth. When it disappeared he once again looked at Carger. The drop of rain that Nevar felt, soon became a few minutes of rain. Nevar lifting his head up and howled his sorrows away, as he took in the warmth of the rain. He felt as if Mawla was with him, and he felt she was still around. The wind soon picked up, and the rain stopped. The clouds drifted away, and the sun shined bright. Mawla's body still laying there motionless.

Adahi' sat a fair distance from the tree. The femme's orbs watched Squall come to Nevar, the Ileai alpha with his cleansing fire, and settled on the lifeless body of Mawla. The loss of life was sad, but that small voice in the back of her mind couldn't help but ponder that if she had never come to Aquene she would have never died. Perhaps that was the power of the land that drove the packs apart in the first place. those that tried to force change would pay the price. She looked down. No matter what she did, no wolf should go through that pain. But was she thinking of Mawla or of Nevar? Unable to face her thoughts any longer she turned and padded off toward the hills.

She didn't really know the way, but she had heard Mawla talk about it all the time. There was no scent to follow but something told her to go the way that she was, and soon the lush green forest mangled its way into long plain lands. Others were near by and the scent of her own alpha Carger was amongst the group. She picked up her pace.
She stopped running and came to an abrupt stop, there they all were three wolves she never seen, and Carger, all of them balancing over a body.... it was Mawla. She didn't know what to think, but if her alpha was there then things must have been done, slowly she crept up to the group and announced her presence. "Mawla...." she gasped. "What happened to her?" she hesitated as she stood by her alpha, eyes fiery with anger and confusion.

Squall looked at the wolf (Carger) who had created the fire and spoke to him in a somber tone "I am the one who took care of Ms. Mawla, I did all I could sir, but her strength was harshly depleted. I am Squall one of Lord Nevar's Beta Males, I have experience in medicinal plants." as he bowed in sincere greetings.

Nevar eyes watched Carger, as Squall spoke to him. He felt horrible for Squall, and he felt just as bad for Carger and Lythium who lost a member. Worst, a member who disobeyed. But if she didn't disobey, then he would of never met her. He wouldn't of known how to control and block out other wolves emotions. When Adahi'i came and went Nevar's eyes didn't shift, but he saw her from the corner of them. He couldn't just get up and leave, he figure he would catch her later and then they can talk. He some what had a hint of something, but he didn't want to make sure by using his gift he wanted to hear it from her voice what she was feeling. Respect, was something he always had for his pack. Maybe burning Mawla and letting her melt in the wind would be a better way. As the wind blew by, and in his mind he felt she was there. He looked at Mawla's body and then back at Carger. He figure he would allow Carger to burn her, and let her fly into the wind. So then, she will be free and allowed to be with her pack and with him. "Carger, Will you do the honors of cremating her?" as he asked politely and calm. His believe in the after life will have wait for one of his own.
