Friends that will Transcend Time Time: MiddayWeather: As the group raises, so does the temperature. Puffs of white smoke escape their mouths as the turn to talk to each other. The sun is high in the bright blue sky, its ray's illuminating the blankets of undisturbed snow with white brilliance. Location: A couple of miles to go before the group of wolves reach the summit of the mountain. A collage of emotions bombarded Reverends mind, and he struggled to bite back his annoyance. It was his own fault, he was the one that decided to be a Beta and join a pack. He wasn't annoyed at his new pack mates, he was annoyed at himself. He had once been able to effectively block out other's thoughts, but it seems that he has lost that ability because of his years of solitude. He was annoyed at his weakness. He chocked down a sigh. 'Helping Tamyran, is worth it.' he told himself. 'Making friends is worth it.' He glanced over at Tamyran and Aksha. "So I know about Tamyran, and she knows about me, But neither of us know about you Aksha." Reverend said, giving Aksha a sly smile.

Aksha hadn't struggled too much up the mountain; after all, with age came wisdom, and she could better identify the safest route. In her youth she would've been daring, taken the most risks, competed with her packmates with speed and agility, to impress the alpha. That was before she'd become Aksaha Spiritus, though. Aksha simply smiled back, resisting the urge to simply freeze up like she'd done so many times. In solitude, she had depended on staying unnoticed. Here... She sat down, watching the sky in silence for a moment. "Well. My life wasn't all that interesting. I lived with a pack until I turned two, and I've been wandering since." 'Lies,' she berated herself silently. Not exactly a lie, just not elaborating enough for it to be considered total truth. "My, uh, my pack followed a very strict limit of membership, and when I was two we both decided that I was better off elsewhere." How? How, after all those years, could she remember the very day? She could see it, too, quite clearly, in her eyes. When Spiritus was in control, she usually didn't remember anything that she saw. But not that first time. She was vaguely surprised that none of them had spoken about her name yet - although, they did have the 'goddess of the lillies' over there, so she shouldn't have been too surprised. She might tell them what it meant - after all, none of them knew the event behind its truth, so it couldn't hurt.

"I see." Reverend said, cocking his head to the side. "I was raised in a very strict pack also. But my father was in a position of power, so I did not feel its effects. My father ended up killing my mother, so then I killed my father, and ran away." Reverend said the last part in a dull voice, like he was talking of the weather. Reverend had come to terms with his parent's death a long time ago, so he had no problem telling others this.
He wondered where his old pack was at that moment. If the leader was still in charge, if his old friends were still alive. He cringed at the thought of his old friends, how he had just abandoned them.

She looked at him, as he spelled out her past, and almost cringed at her inability to do so. She'd lived with this truth for years, longer then most of these wolves had been alive, so how could that pain be so fresh? How is it that she couldn't let go of the past, or tighten her grip over her powers? She closed her eyes, remembering of how, only recently, she'd come across the lands where her former pack had dwelt. "That pack is no longer in existence, though," she said quietly.
She looked at Reverend hard fpr a moment, as if figuuring him out. She turned her eyes to Tamyran, and Anjou. "And you?" she inquired lightly.

Tamyran listened to her pack member's story with interest. She didn't know if the female was telling the whole truth, but that was ok for now. When the subject was turned to her own past, however, she had to take a second to think of a way to tell. A lot of her past was a mystery, and only Reverend knew it.
"My past is very uncertain, " she replied carefully, "When my father met my mother, it was only in an attempt to fool her into love, so he could pass on a demon that had manifested within him. He just left once ha got what he wanted. The spirit was transfered into me. And I have since then learned to live along side it." The memories came back to her of the fox she had slain at the will of Paxton, and the trouble he had caused her. She wondered whether or not he was going to start taking control of her life again, and if these wolves should really be trusting in her. Tamyran decided not to tell them that Paxton could take their thoughts to her if they didn't inquire.
She was curious as how they would take to this idea. The thought of a demon inside their alpha would scare some wolves. She couldn't say anything to assure them it wouldn't affect their lives, either. She glanced over to her beta, seeming to ask him if telling them was the right thing. She wasn't very comfortable with it.

Anjou listened closely to the others as they spoke, she stayed silent until she was spoken to. That was her nature, after joining the Imperium Pack her persona had changed, instead of the warm, bouncy, semi-confused wolf of her younger years, Anjou had transformed herself into a broad shouldered adult, although still warm her persona became confident.
"My story? Well, I lived in the mountains of the Dakotas, with a Native American tribe. My parents were the Alphas of the BlackFeather pack. when I lay in the snow I blend in but when spring comes lilies sprout from the ground in the same spot. So the tribe decided to call me the Goddess of the Lilies. I was born with powers just like my mother, although I have yet to use them against some one else. Before I left and before the Great War, the Chief painted this design on my face. Then I left and found myself here. It's so beautiful." Anjou's warm voice filled the air, as she inhaled the clean briskness of the midday atmosphere.

Reverend caught Tamyran's eye, and smiled. Showing his approval, and also comfort. He knew how hard it was for her to tell them that, although they were pack mates now, they were still strangers to an extent. He did lift an eyebrow at how Tamyran downplayed the power of Paxton, but did not comment on it, it would come with time. He glanced over at Aksha with an expression that said 'see?' He was trying to convey to her that the alpha would understand her spirit. Reverend then turned to Anjou, his kind eye bright with curiosity. "Well that an interesting...power? It must be because you have a kind heart." He said, cocking his head to the side. "Flowers would never grow for an evil person." He glanced at the other two ladies, then back at Anjou. "I've told this to Aksha already, and Tamyran knew the moment she met me, that I have special talents also." Reverend knew now that Paxton probably told Tamyran that he could sense emotions. "I can sense another's emotions, And make them feel whatever I want. But don't be alarmed, I don't tap into other's emotions unless absolutely necessary, it really isn't my nature to do so." He paused, "And I can also left thing with my mind."

Aksha's eyebrows raised slightly at Reverend's look, but smiled nonetheless. It faded as she heard his next words. "Flowers would never grow for an evil person." She shivered slightly. If flowers wouldn't grow for an 'evil' person, would a horse fall dead in front of a good one? She dismissed the thoughts. It was a new land, a new pack, a new start, and a new life. "I can release a shadow form of myself," she said carefully, "that can move quickly and fly and things of the like." Yeah, nice save. 'Things of the like.' Depending on how you interpretted that, it could sound suitable for a power. She wasn't lying, just...evading the whole truth. "Your powers are all so interesting," she said, switching the limelight a bit. "Are these powers common in wolves? My pack had never heard of any 'unnatural' gifts, and it didn't bode too well with them."

Reverend shifted his gaze back to Aksha. "I hadn't either until i met Tamyran. My old Alpha seemed pretty surprised when he saw me lift my father into the air...." Reverend cocked his head to the side, he had never really thought about it before. "Now that you mention it, no one in my pack or neighboring ones had these kinds of abilities. If that had had powers, we would have heard about." He wondered if it was just a coincidence that all the wolves had these abilities here.

Tamyran smiled at Anjou. She was glad 'her' wolves were liking the land. "I'm glad you find your new home beautiful. I love the mountains also." She didn't find Anjou's title as funny anymore now that she understood it better. As long as the female wasn't refering to herself as a goddess above the alpha, she'd be okay.
Tamyran also noticed that Aksha was being very vague, and uncomfortale. "Aksha," she said gently, "Everyone here with some sort of power has had some sort of bad experience with it. Your past is forgotten here. Toss it off the mountain side." She spoke the last part with a bit of authority, but it wasn't a demand. She could go send Paxton to invade Aksha's privacy.Maybe she would have if she were still her harder self. But she had changed. She was in controll now, at least for now.

"Please excuse me my dear friends, but my head is telling me to wander over the terrain, where shall we all meet?" Anjou spoke to the others, she couldn't explain the feeling that swept over her body like cool water but it was making itself known.
"I shall see you all again." she finished and started to make her way down the mountain's height.
