Meli's eyes soon shifted as a black coated wolf enter the area, it was more of the wolf scent that caught her attention otherwise it would of took her awhile to really know another had enter the area. She looked to the other two wolves, she never been around so many loners before, at least not since she has been in a pack. Her maroonish brown eyes soon shifted to the ground and once again she looked at each wolf. Her mind thinking that she did not want to be surrounded by three wolves. It would be quit a good battle, but her small figure wouldn't keep her a live from any bite. But I guess they wouldn't be a live either if they took a bite out of her toxic skin. She didn't really need to fear, but she didn't want to be surrounded either. It wasn't much fun for her to try and be tougher then the other. Specially when the others where much larger then her.

Arken didn't feel uneasy quite so much but he did feel rather concerned. He could sense the tension in the air but it wasnt from an impending fight or anything such as that. With his periphereal vision he saw that the creme, gray and brown colored female not too far from him was giving off a rather uncomfortable body language. He didn't really enjoy seeing such a sight but when one is a loner it can be very stressing when surrounded by others. He wanted to reassure her that everything would probably end up fine, but then again making a move to go speak to her in such a state might cause an uproar.
He thought about using ine of his supernatural abilities and again thought it over. " She could be startled by such an act as well..hmm...Ill have to...Ill be as careful as possible.." Arken closed his eyes slowly and took in a deep breath then opened his eyes once more, his pupils dialating and contracting suddenly. Using his power over darkness did Arken begin to twist and contort the females shadow. Trying to be as discreet as possible, Arken only used the softest of movements before he was able to get a solid lock on her shadow. Now, Arken gently pulled the lids over his crimson orbs and moved his mouth gently, in reality, he began to speak through her shadow.
"...Hey..listen..don't be afraid...I can sense how uneasy you are..there is no need to be..it makes me concerned although I know I have no right to be but I am..I'm speaking to you through your shadow..so don't be confused that you hear your own voice...Its a beautiful one nonetheless...Thats all I really need to say..." Arken whispered to her through her shadow.
The movement of her shadow began to cease as he opened his eyes. With a deep exhale did he begin to breath hard. The consumption of energy of this skill wasn't great at all however he had no energy to begin with. Having not eaten in days he lacked the energy to even keep himself in a seated position. He layed down on the grass with a rather pained expression and his eye lids hung rather low. Unable to heal himself he decided he would let his body rest and continued to look before him as his body laid against the sun-heated grass.

Meli soon looked at her shadow it began to speak to her, with out a doubt she backed up. Her mind racing with thoughts as she listen to her own shadow talk to her. She never saw anything like this and it somewhat freaked her out. She soon looked to the black wolf with her eyes enlarged, and surprised. She soon relaxed her eye lids and her pupils went back to normal. She looked back down at her shadow and then back at the other wolf. She had to know what he just did, and with out a question or reply to the other wolves. She marched on over to the male wolf off in the distance, leaving the other two alone. "Was that you? How did you do that?" she says as she got close to him. In her mind she thought the power he had was amazing, an unique. Maybe because she never really saw another gift like that. She stayed a distance, her skin was still toxic and any touch to her body could cause a rather annoying rash. She sat down and waited for the weak wolf to answer. Not really caring how weak he was, but rather wanting her questions answered.

Without lifting his head, only moving his dim crimson orbs to look at her did he answer. "....Well yes...It was...Unfortunatly that little stunt, although working in the end, will cost me heavily..." He said in a fading whisper as the fire in his eyes crackled to nothing then suddenly flushed an ocean of Persuan Blue. This wolf was not normal, not the fact that he has supernatural powers but the fact that he is still alive when he should've died many years ago. Although no one knew of such a past, the way he survived his years after being left at the brink of death would be shown now, but would probably go unnoticed. In truth, the expense of his energy wouldn't kill him at this very moment but he would need to..."Borrow"..the strength if he is to live to see another day. Struggling to sit himself up and almost falling into unconsciousness did Arken close his eyes. A black smoke began to arise into the air that originated from his chest, underneath his coat of fur. He then inhaled a deep breath and a malicious maroon light shone on his chest in a most terrible shape, a most terrible mark. His eyes shot open and the ocean of blue was once again engulfed in his crimson flames. However, this time his orbs glowed with such an intensity, with every movement of his head it would leave a red streak in the sky that would dissapear, an after image of his hypnotic vibrant eyes. He looked to her but this time he stood up, towering over her quite a lot but his eyes relfected that of kindness. "I must ask something of you...Please do not tell anyone of what you had just witnessed..Although I don't even know your name...I feel as if I can trust you...This power maybe it is great..but the cost is severe..." Arken said in a lust-laced voice, strong but one that also conveyed the danger in the consequence of what he had just done.

Meli's eyes didn't change as her surprised look on her face gave away what she thought. Her mouth was slightly open as whatever was happening went on. She didn't really know what to think and she didn’t really know what she was looking at, but whatever it was made her a little scared. Her mouth soon closed up and she looked at the strangers eyes. It wasn't hard to see that she was a bit scared, for once in her life. When the wolf asked her to keep this quiet she pretty much just sat there in silence. She was a still a little bit shocked at what she just witness. Her maroonish eyes shined as the sun reached the top, the heat entering her body. She figured she just saw things, and turned to looked at the two wolves she just left behind. They weren't her friends or anything, but she questioned if they saw it as well. She looked back to the male, it was a bit rude of her not to speak so she finally spoke even though she didn't really care to be rude or not "I don't even know your name." She said, as the wolf already made judgments about her.

"...I know..regardless..Something deep within the recesses of my heart tell me that without names it isn't wrong for me to trust you.." Arken orated with a low but strong tone of voice. What was going on in that mind of his? He isn't one to just throw out trust like it was free but then again it must mean something. He looked into the females eyes, as he endured the incredible pain that was happening within his body. Even with such a pain he made no faces and gave no signs that such an activity was going on within.
"...This isn't like me at all..However..in times like these..it doesn't come to me as a surprise.." He added as he rolled his great powerful shoulders, making them thud and pop, causing them to relax. He couldn't put his paw on it but whatever it was that had him try to comfort her couldn't be wrong, he would hope. At this moment, things got even more peculiar.
Getting to his feet did Arken feel it might be best if he didn't get close to anyone, this was close enough. As he exhaled, out from his mouth came a black mist. This happened with each breath and even with his mouth closed did the mist seep out through his teeth. The same occurence began happening underneath his massive paws, the smoke coming from underneath as the grass beneath his paws began to wither.
Even as all this happened, he still managed to say yet one more thing. "...I noticed your discomfort...but theres really no need to worry anymore...If you ever feel in any discomfort..or are in need of anything...Know that I will always be in the shadows...Just give me a call...Names Arken.." As these words left his mouth, he disputed in his mind whether he should leave, his conscience in a knot.

Meli watched every movement the wolf gave, her eyes glued to it as if she was studying everything about the wolf. She felt a bit confused on why this wolf trusted her, no wolf trusted her and they had the right not too. She was not a wolf to trust, and she was not a wolf to "mess" with. She knew her battles and she knew when to stand up, but did she know when to trust or not too? "My name is Meli." she spoke with her sweet tone of voice, her body was small compare to the male. Her fur was still thick but yet thin, the heat never really effected her because of her species. When the smoke came out of his mouth and under his paws, it reminded her of another gift she saw once before when she wasn't to lazy and adventure away from any source of food. When looking into this wolves eyes she also knew that something "good" was in him, and that he had more to him then what was seen. Was this something she wanted to peruse? At that time it was something that she wanted to know, but she knew better not too. So without any question she stood up, and backed off. Her body was calm and not threatening, "Maybe I will see you another time." She once again spoke, looking to the other two wolves that were a few feet away, she once again looks at him and smiles. After the smile she ran off, with a few thoughts in her head.

Arken took her name into his memory as she told it. Beneath the battle of his body, he battled in his mind aswell. Just what was he doing, he knew better than to consort with others while he was so vulnerable. What made this time any different? He shook his head in obvious confusion before he heard her next words.
Looking up did he realize her smile before she took off, despite her vanishing did he smile regardless. "..If fate allows us..then yes..we will see each other again...Stay safe..Meli.." he whispered and looked in the opposite direction, this was his next destination. Whatever was in this direction was going to be his place of rest for the next day or two. He now began to walk towards the unknown but as he did he began to whisper in his ancient tongue.
"Nifract set se de elek...Meli.." he said in what sounded like a silent prayer, his eyes suddenly flashing a red while the exhaled the thick black mist.Ofcourse, she was the only person he had truly met in the new world and so he kept this in his mind. Raising the lids from his optics, he began to run, his instincts now on keeping himself alive.
