Why aren't you afraid of me? Time: Afternoon Weather: Blue skies, without even the slightest breeze. The air is hot and stuffy, and the sun isn't helping. Where did this heat come from?Location: The skimpy trees offer only a minimal amount of shade, but any is welcome. The grass is sparse and yellow. Harijan had left the company of wolves only a short while ago, but yet the congregation that had followed him before was back, and it had grown. The old hare was in the lead, He could not communicate with them, but he like to speak with them none the less. "You know, I'm very undeserving of your trust. I've done a lot of bad things, not because I wanted to, but i did them anyway." Hari told the skinny little hare. The hare made no noise, just continued to hop beside Hari. A cople of yards away from them a snake poked it's head form it's hole, and stuck out its black tongue. After a slight hesitation, it slithered out in front of Harijan. Hari stopped, and looked down at the snake expectantly. "Yes?" Hari asked cocking his head to the side. The snake slithered forward and went up Hari's leg, and wrapped himself around his neck, loosely. "Ugh, its to hot for that!" Hari growled softly. But the snake had cool skin, and it felt nice. "Well." Hari said after a second. "Just for a little while okay?" Hair found a tree that was more alive and bigger then the others and laid at its base. The shadow seemed several degrees cooler. All the little critters gathered around him in a semicircle. Hari glanced around at them. Mice, hares, chipmunks, squirrels, a few sparrows and other birds, and one snake, who was still around his neck. "Aren't you guys hot? Why don't you go home to your burrows, and nests." There was silence from the group, their black eyes watching him tiredly. "Ugh." Hari grunted, and flopped his head against the ground, and closed his eyes. "Alert me to anyone passing by!" He said to them, and dozed off.

A few miles away she walked, dodging the trees that were seen rarely, as well as dodging the bushes that made you bleed. Meli soon smelt a few familiar scents, as her stomach quickly reacting as it growled in pain. She stood still as soon she reached a tree, supposedly there was a few different types of animals but all she saw was a rabbit. Her scent focused on the prey that she didn't pay attention to the wolf that they are watching over. She lowered her body, her bones moving through her skin, as she continue her walk towards this smell. Her slow pace soon came to a halt, as she hid next to a small bush. Her coat blending in, when the brown scene. She keeps all eyes focused, as other creatures soon enters her sight. Quickly she uses her gift, as a scent enters the air. Hoping to bring something to satisfy her stomach pains. "Come to me precious." she says to her self.

Harijan's eyes shot open, and he leapt to his feet. He was faced with a female wolf. Her scent was calling him to her, but he hung back. He looked down at the animals that followed him, most of them had scattered with the arrival of the new wolf, but some had stayed. Like the rabbit the female seemed to be targeting. Hari sighed, and looked over at the female, his eyes sad. He couldn't stop her from eating the rabbit. This place wasn't filled to the brim with animals like other places. The female was just taking advantage of the situation. It was nothing personal. Harijan said nothing, he sat calmly, the snake was still draped around his neck. Wolves didn't really eat snakes, so it had nothing to worry about.

Meli soon began to run as the rabbit itched closer, as her teeth was close to grapping it she took notice of the large male to the distance. Her body legs freezing in mid air, she brings her body down. Trapping the rabbit with her open arms she brings her teeth down on its neck. Keeping her eyes on the other wolf, who had a snake around his neck. Her body getting scratched up by the dirt, dry grass, and rocks. she laid their with a few pain creeping up her body. She bites down harder creating a break into the rabbits eyes, as it closes its eyes quickly after. She puts the rabbit down as she stood tall after the kill, her eyes still on the wolf. "I hope it was not a friend of yours." She smiles a little wicked.

Harijan winced as she killd the rabbit. He cocked his head to the side at her question. Why would she ask that? Did she do it on prupose because he was sleeping next to them. "No." He said softly looking about the corpse. He bent at the knees, and the snake reluctantly left his neck, flicking his tongue out asa farewell. He stood silent, watching the female, not saying anything. He was not one to supply conversation, or even return it. It would be a short interection...maybe.

Meli's smile soon became a smirk as she stood her ground. Her legs a distance apart, as her body was slightly low. Her eyes kept on him, but her head hung low. Her ears perked to little sounds off in the distance, as the rabbit's blood stained the ground. Ants slowly crawling up on the rotting corpse, the silence began. More thoughts came to her head, 'Should i mess with him... leave a mark... or just walk away.' she thought to her self. She wasn't the type to stick around and enjoy a conversation. She soon stood tall, moving her legs closer together. Her tail swaying to the left, then to the right. Her body slimmed, "Good, that means i know who to find when i get hungry again." She says as she makes a point that his gift was useful for others, to find easy pray. She smiled again as her canine teeth showed, she grasp the rabbit as ants slowly fall off the dead rabbit. She snickers and jogs off.

The clouds has slowly began their crawl into the sky; like claws trying to cover the ethereal sky that hovered above. As the sun dipped behind the horizon, spraying the sky with a vast coloration of fire-like red, oranges and gold. it was quite. The smell of blood was heavy and thickened the air, stinging the eyes of any creature that may venture the close area. The were tufts of black, gray and brown furs all scattered about as the blades were shrewd and cut from places. Earth had been churned and kicked about. These remnants were clear of a deadly fight, blood tainting the blades of grass nearby, and that of an outnumbered battle.. 1 to 5.
That very battled had lasted well into the morning now as the culprits were gone now, the evidence of their destruction was hidden amongst the minimal shades of dried, thick underbrush and the thicker long grasses. It's streamline body melted into the shadow perfectly, it's black coat coloration was perfectly suited for this maneuver. The only breaks in the fae's coat were the gashes of red, that trained over her black silhouette like splashes of red paint. It broke her camouflage but now a new facade was arriving, that of night, which had yet to come concealed in the coldness. that ran along this setting around her. Her shoulders and muzzles were in a severely lacerated state.
