Luck.
Time: In Human Time its about 10 am, so the sun is out slowly making its away around. Weather: The sun shines, only a few clouds will provide shade. mirages are seen depending how long you have been sitting in the sun. The temperature is around 105°F, so its best to keep shade if you know what's best. Location: Where there are a few trees, dry grass, and a few dry bushes. Holes are everywhere from all the small creatures, the trees are a bit dry so they don't provide to much shade.
Wapi's legs stretched as he stood under the small area of shade which was located under a lifeless tree. His mouth stretched open as he yawn a rather long yawn. His eyes closing as he did this large yawn. When he reopened them he blinked a few times as his eyes capture the new lighting, and his vision stop seeing yellow spots. "It's rather bright out, don't you think" He talks to himself, he soon moves his jaw up and down in a motion that looks like he was snapping. "Cotton mouth, I hate cotton mouth" Once again speaking to himself. Lifting his left leg up, dangling it in the air as a tingling feeling runs through it. "I guess my leg didn't think it was time to wake up." He laughs to himself, as a large smile appeared on his face. Moving forward he trips and falls forgetting that he had a sleeping leg. Tumbling as he becomes a bit to dramatic for the situation. Sitting on his behind he looks around, "I hope you didn't see that." talking to him self as if he had an imaginary friend. "Oh Wapi, you crazy pup. I'm no pup, I'm 5 years old exactly today! Really? Well Happy Birthday Wapi Thank you, That's very kind of you to remember, Wapi. " The Smile appearing larger then before, as he gets up and continues his walk, this time his foot being awake.

Anye was back in the loner lands now, thinking about Xanthia. Her pupish behavior and kindness had made him happy, but he was lost again in these woodlands. Oh well, such is life, he thought. He wasn't in the most hospitable place now and there were more important things to think about than that. Things like the hot sun, which was frying him despite his white fur. Or like the wolf over there, he realized.
He saw the wolf suddenly. It was so close that he should have noticed it, but his snese of smell wasn't up to par it seems. As if his body was worn. Now he could detect the scent, not like it did any good by now. Anye froze immeadiately, and decided it would be best if he wasn't seen. He turned around slowly and tried to walk the other way. But, unexpectedly, the lifeless branch of a tree trpiied him and sent him into the dirt. It had been in just the right spot, as if placed there by a cruel god. Anye couldn't help but call out in surprise.
He tried to lay there inconspicuously, hoping the wolf would just continue its way. He would have shut his eyes had he any to shut.

Wapi turns his head as a sound enter his ears. Without any questions his face once again goes forward and another dramatic fall was seen. His back legs flipping over as his front legs went back. He seem so flexible, but I guess its because he was so small in size. His head now laying on the ground as he takes in the pain, his eyes opening as dust flew around him. Slowly lifting his head from the dusty, dry ground he forgets the reason why he even fell. But with a burst of memory he quickly remembers and turns his head towards the direction he looked before. Without a question an object moved, making Wapi moveable bones to a solid stance. "Wapi, there is something over there, you should run before they see you." he speaks to himself with a tone of agony, "I see that Wapi, no worries I know what to do." he answers himself in a normal tone but in a whisper. His smile was already gone, and his tail did not sway. His left front paw was lifted, incase he had to make a run. He kept silent as he watch the creature, not realizing that something was oddly strange about it. "Wapi, why aren't you running, I have a bad feeling about this wolf. He has a gift, or something. You can sense it, you know you can. So run, Wapi, run!" As his voice increase in sound.

Anye lay still as he heard movement. The other wolf was maybe leaving? No, that thought dissappeared as soon as he heard a voice. Another voice answered it, and Anye though maybe the noise had been another wolf. Figuring it would be stupid to just lay there, he turned his head and looked.
He saw one wolf looking at him cautiously. "Uhm, hello." he said, slightly embarassed. He untangled his limbs and stood up slowly as to not scare the stranger. Then he turned to face him straight. Anye glanced around, looking for another wolf, but when he saw noone there he just let himself forget. He hadn't noticed the use of the name Wapi, so he was clueless.

Wapi eyes open more largely as the wolf got up and spoke, In his head he told himself to run. But he stayed and kept his left foot up incase he really did have to run. Wapi's eyes soon took in the wolf's body and shape, and also took notice that this wolf had no eyes. His mind more worried on what this wolf would do, how he would do it, then to realize what he was staring at. When the wolf spoke, a memory soon trigger. The voice sounded like a familiar one, but it had a different tone to it. Like how they used the voice. His eyes still enlarge, and his large ears still perked Wapi kept silent. His tail only sway a bit before he put his paw down. Any little movement made him lift it, but for a few minutes at a time he kept it down. He just stared at the wolf infront of him, and finally a thought came to him. "Zev?!" and his tail started to wag, forgetting that his brother had passed away and that he had issues with him at one point. Wapi eyes soon changed in size, back to normal you can say and he ran over to him, with a pounce in the mix. But as he got closer he soon started to realize, "Wait…" he said out loud as he stood only a few feet from the wolf who he thought was his brother.

Anye stood frozen, unsure what to do in this situation. He wasn't exactly familliar with the social conduct of wolves. He was shocked when the stranger moved towards him, and he leaned away. Zev? He didn't know what that meant. Anye began to open his mouth to say, "Uhm, I'm sorry but I don't know what you mean." but then the animal (oh, wasn't it terrible that he still thought of his own species as animal) spoke again. WAIT? he thought, But I didn't make a move!... Anye had never been so unsure of what to do in his life.
He realized that he had been moving backwards and straightened his body. Since the wolf wasn't saying anything, he decided to speak. "Yes?" Anye felt an itch on his shoulder but then it disappeared, remnants of Meli's brush against him. He was glad all of that was gone now. Why was this wolf acting so strange? "Your body" it was if a voice had spoken in his ear, but he knew it was his own mind. Something about his body?

Wapi looks at what use to be his decease brother. His eyes were a bit stun, and his expression showed this very well. His lower jaw was dropped, and his left paw was lifted. He felt something strange about this wolf; he didn’t have the power of what his brother use to have. He felt something more strangely; he didn’t know what it was. So he didn’t feel a threat between powers. Soon he lifts his lower jaw back up, and his face expression soon changed. His eyes staring into the black holes, where eyes were suppose to be. “You can’t be Zev, he’s dead. How do you look exactly like him? … How? ” he says in a worried tone. He soon whispers to himself as he looks away, “I told you to run, Wapi. You never listen.
|
” as he somewhat shows his insane side. “ Shut up.” He answers himself as his eyes shifted back to Anye. [/blockquote]

He hated the way the wolf was looking at him now, with some sort of scared fascination. Of all the wolves he had met, none of them had reacted to his strangeness this way. Anye's body language chaanged. His heart began to beat faster when he realized what this could mean. He looked like someone this male knew, and that could mean something: a step to finding his identity. That was big.
Obviously, though, he ran the risk of scaring him away. So Anye forcibly calmed himself down. He took a breath, reminding himself not to get his hopes too high. He wasn't sure that this wolf was.. mentaly stable. It was hot and barren in these lands. He could easily be delirious the way he was talking to himself, though it was a little cute.
He tried to speak carefully. "You don't have to be scared of me," he said, sounding as genuine as he could. "I'm a little confused myself." Anye thought maybe The wolf though he was a ghost. Of someone named Zev. "I.. I don't know who Zev is." He sat down on his hauunches to appear less harmful. "But I don't know who I am, either so.. I could be anybody."

Wapi’s behind soon followed the same step as Anye, as it lowered at the same time. He didn’t realize the expression of Anye, he was so focused on the fact he didn’t have eyeballs and that he looked like his brother. His ear twitched when the wolf spoke answering his question, but then he realizes he forgot what he even asked. His body soon took a large twitch, making him lose balance and fall to one side. Before completely losing it, he puts his paw down to keep his balance. He looked at the ground and without a question he laughed and looked back at Anye with his tongue hanging out. He wasn’t usually this friend or playful around others, maybe because he thought it was his brother. He soon put his tongue back into his mouth as he realizes that the wolf heard him talk to himself, he never believe he was “crazy” or not normal. He always thought he was talking to himself through his mind, not out loud. “Zev” he says, as he heard the name. “My brother passed away, he had bugs all over him.” He says as if he was only a pup. I guess a year of being alone can bring you back down to a pups level, specially when most of the time you were in the heat or the freezing cold. He sighs and loses eye contact with the wolf, “You look like him. Are you a ghost? Are you my brother? Did you come back to life?” He started to ask questions, not realizing one question was somewhat of a repeat. His body moved up and closer to Anye, as his tail moved side to side creating a little dust pile in the air.

"I'm sorry.. I don't know who I am." he repeated. He didn't mind repeating, though. This wolf seemed almost like a pup to him, and he had patience for him. Anye was feeling guilty now for not knowing anything. He almost needed to cry, more for this wolf than for himself. It wasn't his fault that he didn't know (or was it? who knows) and he still felt bad for it and it wasn't fair.
All this time he had been fine with it, he had figured rationally that it was nothing to be sad about. But now, his past seemed so close and he couldn't grasp it. That made all the difference.
"I call myself Anye. It's just a name, not my real one. You can call me that." His voice sounded sadder now. If he had eyes they would be cast at the ground and sad, the kind of sad you feel when you're helpless. "I can't remember anything longer than a week or so ago. I woke up on the ground.. didn't know that I was even a wolf!" He caught himself on the clif of self pity and took a step back. He didn't want to be like that. "If I was your brother, I think you would know. You would recognize his spirit, you know?" Anye didn't know anything about that kind of stuff, but it seemed right.
He looked at Wapi, hoping that he wasn't a lunatic and that he understood everything he had just said. It would be pretty funny if all of this meant nothing.

Wapi this time listen to every word the wolf said. He even remember what he asked, he wasn’t distracted by something simple. He behind soon lift off the ground a bit and once again scouted forward, his paws moving up and down, like if he was tapping or dancing with just his front paws. When the wolf spoke of his name he got confused, “But if you aren’t Zev, then why would I call you Zev?” he asked confused. He soon stood up and decided to look at him; he knew some areas of the body where the bugs ate at. Scares or holes would be there if it was Zev’s body. He slowly went around Anye, as he looked at the wolf fully. “RIGHT THERE! You are Zev… but how!? I saw bugs eating you.” Once again forgetting that the wolf said he was not Zev, but could possibly have Zev’s body. But the memory soon came back to him as he stood infront of Anye, “Wait, how are you in Zev’s body? And not be Zev?” He question the wolf, as his behind sat back down. His tail swaying, his large ears perk, as his full attention was on the wolf infront of him.

"Anye. I said call me Anye, not Zev." He frowned. The heat had made him thirsty. he didn't want to sit here anymore, talking like this. It seemed pointless. He watched Wapi akwardly scooting forward again and his mood lifted a little. A phantom smile appeared on his face and lasted a second.
Then he had an idea. "Wapi, do you remember where you saw your brother last?" Wapi hadn't introduced himself, but Anye had picked up his name in his conversations with himself.

Wapi's head tilted as he told him that his name was Anye, he also some what took notice of his expression. His happiness went away, and the fear started to kick in. When Anye asked him about where he saw his brother last he soon stood up and backed off. The thoughts of the bugs scared him, and his short tail soon went between his legs. His head lowered as well as the thought of bugs came into his head. Looking at the ground he made sure there were any near him. He soon looked back up at Anye, with these sad puppy eyes. As tears build up inside them, his emotions changed so dramatically. "I think it was in the open fields, it was like a desert almost. Dried grass, and a few bushes here and there. " He nodded in the thought. His sad puppy eyes soon washed away as he looked around where he was. He never did realize that Anye knew his name, he kind of figure he told him. "Wapi, you shouldn't follow this wolf. Let's go play instead, you saw him staring at you strangely. He won't be here long, he won't be your friend. He's just another thing in your brother's body, so let's just go now. Let him find himself by himself." Wapi says in a whisper as he turns his body and head away from Anye, walking away. "But I'm so lonely, Wapi." He says sweetly, and a bit louder then the other voice. His head low as he walked away from Anye, as if his body was controlling its self.

Anye's mouth opened slightly as he heard Wapi descirbe the place. It sounded like the place where Anye had woken up. Anye thought that this was his only chance of finding out who he was.
He didn't know what made Wapi scared of him now, he had been fine a few seconds ago. He wasn't even going to ask Wapi to follow him. It made him sad that anyone would even think that he would hurt them. But he knew that this was a different situation, that Wapi thought he looked like his dead brother (could it be that he actually is Zev?). That must make it hard for him. He wanted to find out more, but he didn't want to push the wolf too far. It wasn't right, and Anye wasn't selfish.
"I'm sorry," he said as he watched Wapi walk away slowly. Just a thing in another wolf's body, he thought. He lowered himself further onto the ground, resting his head on his front legs, and took a deep sigh. He didn't notice the heat anymore.

Wapi's ears twitched as a fly began to bug. His eyes shifting to the sorce of his twitch and soon, his body crotched down into the fetal position. When he realize what he did, he quickly stood up and looked over to Anye. His head tilted to the left side as he stared at the lost wolf. He felt sorry for him and soon he spoke out, "Are you going to come along? Or did you want to take this adventure alone?" He question him, once again his mood changed dramatically as he was calm and serious. His tail wagged after he spoke, and a smiled appeared on his face. He felt that this wolf could help him, as he could help them. Plus, it would make him feel more like his brother was still alive, just with out any eyeballs and a few nasty scars.
