Lagging Along
Time: It's about 8 pm, the sun is no where to be seen, and the moon is hidden. Only light are the stars that decide to shine bright. Weather: Only a few clouds may be seen, as the stars will disappear and reappear. They don't really provide much of a temperature change, as the trees block the heat from escaping making the temperature to be around 87 degrees, and will slowly drop as the wind brings in the cool air. Location: Trees are here, and trees are there. A few fallen, a few burnt (from a fire a few years ago). Hills here and there, and a few patches of grass before hitting another tree.
Kohana walks with his head low, his back hunched over and his wings were hanging out with a slight bent to them. His ears stayed close to his head, as her fur slowed him down. Each step, his paw would slowly lift off the ground and slowly moved forward. It almost seem like he was sore, or just really old by how he walked. His tail just hanging behind him, as it only moves to keep a balance if needed. His eyes watched the ground, instead of looking a head. Dodging all the trees that got in his way, a few times getting close to hitting one before seeing it in his path. Each paw print leaving a path, as the ground sweats from the earlier heat. His mouth foaming, as his throat becomes thirsty. His own spit couldn't cure his dry mouth. Moving his mouth up and down making a smacking noise as his tongue moves around his lips and teeth. Lifting his head up to see more trees, and more trees. Hoping up on to a fallen tree he sits down, as he feels a slight breeze run through his fur and wing's tips. Closing his eyes he enjoys every second he had with the wind. "That feels amazing." His wings soon stretching up as they hope that it was cooler the further you went up.

Koer's paws carried him through the forest, the congregation of trees that he had better get used to. He'd already gotten lost in here once, and even though he had been asleep that time he could see that it might happen again easily.
But that wasn't why he was there. When the air swept through these trees he heard a whisper that remindeed him of the other forest. It sounded different here, though, and he supposed it meant foreshadowing for his life in this place. It meant change.
He heard his pack mate up ahead, oviously the large one. He didn't need to feel the ground's messages to know that, even though he always did anyway. Koer spotted him sitting with his wings unfolded, his eyes closed. "Too bad we wingless will never feel it then," he said, not quite wincing from how unlike him that was. He moved to stand in front of the male, his eyes glowing in the dark. Wolves weren't meant to be in the sky, he thought, and if he could find some sort of connection to each wolf in this motley group maybe he would get along better. "Good evening, Kohana."

Kohana eyes slowly opened as the familiar voice enter his ears. His head not really changing direction, but he knew who it was by the scent and by shape that was in his corner eye. His wings lowering back to his back, as his body shifts toward the direction of Koer. "Good Evening, Koer" he says with a rather mannered tone. He bows his head a bit, as it was a sign of respect. He didn't really know what to think of Koer, he knew Koer wasn't a full wolf. He smelt like a mutt, and a mutt he was. He didn't anything against mutts, I mean he was a mutt himself in away. Different from "normal" wolves, but I guess everyone was different in this land. If you didn't notice, then I guess your mind wasn't open or your eyes couldn't see. Kohana soon locked eyes with Koer, his body soon tense but quickly relaxed. His shoulders rolling as he crept forward. "It's getting kind of hot lately, or is it just me?" He said trying to break the silence, not sure what else he could say. He wasn't really into talking to males, he was all about the females.
